This was a very nice resort, anywhere with a bar in the pool is a winner with me. Lovely landscaping in the garden areas and plenty of secluded quiet spots.
I stayed in one of the luxury bungalo`s and was slightly disappointed. Apart from the poor protection from mosquitoes all around, the shower area was pretty in quality.
This hotel was quite a bit more expensive than others i looked at, the resort is worth the money, but the rooms were a let down.

Wonderful
We stayed at Sai Kaew Resort for the first time last week. We had two nights at the resort and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The resort was lovely and luckily we were upgraded to a larger cottage, which was really very nice. Though somewhat old, it was charming and spacious and very private. The gardens and pools were just beautiful and the food was great. Maybe not the cheapest place to stay on Koh Samet, but we definitely found it worth the little extra cost. I have stayed at more than 10 different places on the island over the years and this was definitely my favorite so far.

The room is so small and dark
The beach was beatiful, hotel go to beach is so near,many shop and restaurant in the beach. The room is so small and dark, They are nice rooms but the shower is outdoors and there are many mosquitos, more this time than last. The location is the very best because it is just a short walk to Sai Kaew beach which has many great restaurants next to the ocean and also close to the little village with 7/11 to buy things that you need. all staffs were nice (include the pier).

Was very nice place
stayed in premium room and it was very new and clean. Staff were very nice in general except for maybe reception staff who were the only ones nor very friendly

The office and the restaurant are very nice , you have a new site , very nice but if you have rent a bungalow same to me , it is very ordinary and expensive People is nice

This was our second time at Sai...
This was our second time at Sai Kaew beach resort. They have just completed rennovations of the premier zone. The new restaurant is great as is the new bar. We have stayed both times in the cottages. They are nice rooms but the shower is outdoors and there are many mosquitos, more this time than last. The location is the very best because it is just a short walk to Sai Kaew beach which has many great restaurants next to the ocean and also close to the little village with 7/11 to buy things that you need. The food is so good on the beach and also very resonable. The breakfast buffet at the hotel is nice but can be crowded. The service at the restaurant is poor, you usually have to do everything yourself and the cook for the omelets is sooooo slow. My wife and I both love Koh Samet for the beautiful beach and the great food. This hotel has the best location of any on the island and though prices are not cheap it really is a nice place to stay. We will be back in August.

The Hotel was not finished. There was an incredible construction noise and dust during breakfast time. The breakfast area was too small. There is not sufficiend space. There was absolutely no service on the beach. Contrary to your mention about the handling of the credit card, the amount was already debited without my signature.

The services was absolutely the best.Our family...
The services was absolutely the best.Our family ever experience it before. We were so impressed by the executive assistance manager, Mr. Sada Thipayarat, who arranged all the best facilities available in Koh Samet island. Our daughter got an accident at the swimming pool, and as you know that island is place of isolation where hospital is limited. When Mr Sada Thipayarat aware of the situation, he immiadtly arranged two personal assistance with a speedboat getting back to Bankok hospital Royong where my daughter treated. Also, we were so impressive that we were compliment with a large basket of fruits when we returned back the hotel, and to make sure our daughter was safe and healthy. We would like to say thank to Mr Sada Thipayarat for his kindness and hospility. Many thanks Mr. Tong
