We travel often- at high end hotels-- Paradee rates above all-- the rooms, grounds, location, service, food, etc were all wonderful... Great attention to every small detail-- can't praise too highly--

As been working in the airline business for many years, both me and my husband are very spoiled with good 5 star-hotels, even though we think this hotel is one of the most FANTASTIC! So romantic, so calm, so "down to earth" and luxury at the same time.
The food, the brakfast is absolutely fantastic!
The staff....couldnt ask for more, they are the best!

This is really great place!I have been to Thailand for many times and have stayed in many places but Koh Samet and Paradee are a wondreful choice.
The place is close to Bangkok Airport and you do not need to catch a flyght or a long ride. Koh Samet is National Marine Park and has some beaches with budgets hotels.But Paradee is away from crowded places on lovely beach that is surruonded by forest.The villas are great, service is brilliant but the most amazing pleasure that I had was the restaraunt. Food is brilliant.
Beach was absolutely lonely and clean. The hotel has all facilities to make your staying here unforgeteble.Yes, it is a little bit expencive but it is ridiculous price to be on heaven.

I stayed at the Paradee Resort and Spa and let me just say that it is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The beach is beautiful, the same quality as can be seen in South Thailand except much less busy as it is owned by the hotel.
The rooms are exceptional with plenty of room, very clean and modern with a huge bathroom and lovely outdoor shower. Staff are very helpful and friendly and no job is too much for them. The rooms also come with cable tv and dvd players so in the evening you can borrow dvds from reception.
May I stress that this is a resort only for couples and not families. The whole experience was amazing, and I would definately recommend this place to any couples/honeymooners looking for a quiet tropical getaway.
There are a few downsides however
1) The resort is pretty isolated so do not expect to see the rest of the island without paying at least 1000 BHT for a taxi.
2)If you want a room with a pool you may have to pay extra. I booked via the net expecting a room with a pool and we didn't end up with one even though on the website is says all rooms have private swimming pools.
3)Being isolated the food at the restaurant is expensive but nice, so the best thing is to buy a few snacks from a 7-11 on the way in case you get hungry in between meals
4) The speedboat ride is also very expensive (£90) but there is nothing that can be done about that.
5) There are some mosquitoes so pack repellant, even though it is not as bad as the rest of the island

This resort is beautiful! The service is incredible - the best I have ever come across. I stayed in the beach front pool villa and it was well worth the money - the pool is quite large, gets sun most of the day and is very private. The beach / sea is clean, large enough to feel private, quiet and stunning. The food is of a good standard, a little expensive compared to other Thai resorts, mostly Western, a little Thai - the chef is happy to cater to individual needs. Fine for vegetarians. The only problem is the price of the speed boat - which is really your only option to get across there. It cost me 3000 BHT each way! It is not mentioned on this website but they will tell you when you arrive at the pier. Overall - highly recommened!

When we stayed at this hotel is was in "soft opening", there was some construction work going on but this was limited to daytime only and did not affect ourtime at the resort at all.
This is a new resort therefore eveything is new, and in top condition, we stayed in a beachfront pool villa, the villa was VERY roomy and VERY well appointed.
All the staff are excellent and nothing was to much trouble.
You are met on the beach when you arrive by staff members and escorted straight to your room, (this cuts out the sitting in reception filling out forms.
Overall this is an excellent resort and i would really like to return when it is fully operational.
