"We booked the family room and it..."
We booked the family room and it was extremly impressive. Staying with a group of 6 ( 4 adults and 2kids) and having the same building but with our own rooms and a beautiful lounge looking out onto the sea made it a wonderful experience. The rooms were also away from the main beach in a quiet and cool cove. Beautiful.

"This was our second time at Sai..."
This was our second time at Sai Kaew beach resort. They have just completed rennovations of the premier zone. The new restaurant is great as is the new bar. We have stayed both times in
the cottages. They are nice rooms but the shower is outdoors and there are many mosquitos, more this time than last. The location is the very best because it is just a short walk to Sai Kaew beach which has many great restaurants next to the ocean and also close to the little village with 7/11 to buy things that you need. The food is so good on the beach and also very resonable. The breakfast buffet at the hotel is nice but can be crowded. The service at the restaurant is poor, you usually have to do everything yourself and the cook for the omelets is sooooo slow. My wife and I both love Koh Samet for the beautiful beach and the great food. This hotel has the best location of any on the island and though prices are not cheap it really is a nice place to stay. We will be back in August.

"The Hotel was not finished. There was..."
The Hotel was not finished. There was an incredible construction noise and dust during breakfast time. The breakfast area was too small. There is not sufficiend space. There was absolutely no service on the beach.
Contrary to your mention about the handling of the credit card, the amount was already debited without my signature.

"The services was absolutely the best. Our family..."
The services was absolutely the best. Our family ever experience it before. We were so impressed by the executive assistance manager, Mr. Sada Thipayarat, who arranged all the best facilities available in Koh Samet island. Our
daughter got an accident at the swimming pool, and as you know that island is place of isolation where hospital is limited. When Mr Sada Thipayarat aware of the situation, he immiadtly arranged two personal assistance with a speedboat getting back to Bankok hospital Royong where my daughter treated. Also, we were so impressive that we were compliment with a large basket of fruits when we returned back the hotel, and to make sure our daughter was safe and healthy. We would like to say thank to Mr Sada Thipayarat for his kindness and hospility. Many thanks Mr. Tong

"This is the 2nd time that we've..."
This is the 2nd time that we've stayed at this Resort because we like the ease of using the hotel provided ferry, the location to the town, the great beach front area. Breakfast is not
fantastic but it is sufficient. The rooms we stay in are similar to a Kiwi Bach, just great for a long weekend or the week. You can relax by the beach or the pool or stroll down to down along the shoreline, or rent a bike and explore the area. If you just want to vege in absolute tranquility I'd suggest a more secluded beach resort. Enjoy your stay.

"Getting to the hotel is made easy..."
Getting to the hotel is made easy using the free ferry service provided by the hotel. You board the ferry from the Seree Pier not Ban Phe Pier. The pool is small but overall it
was ok as they have a 2nd pool further back on the property. The pool bar service was very very slow and waiters had little english therefore could not explain the delay causing more frustration. The breakfast was ok with covered seating and outdoor seating, however the 2nd day of our stay it rained and they were not able to provide adequate covered seatintg. And the breakfast was pricey for what you got. We had 2 rooms, the twin was a good size but the double room was on the small size. As for the location it was just perfect, at the end of the Sai Kiew Beach short walk to the township. the boys were able to swim in the ocean, what was annoying was the boats that came up onto the shoreline to get passengers. should have a single channel for the boats that way swimmers where not having to move for boats. Overall a good place for holiday and we would go back.

"overall our stay was ok,however was abit..."
overall our stay was ok,however was abit dissapointted that as there were 6 or 7 resorts along Sai Keaw Beach, there wasn't any arrival pier. It's definitely not a good first impression to start with.
However the hotel staff were very accommodating to our needs which my family and I very much appreciate. The worst senerio was when we bought a boat tour for snorkelling, we have to walk into the sea water at chest level just to board the boat!most of our bags got wet, which was very unacceptable. There must be some way to improvise this problem, build a pier at the centre of the beach front, so that all guests can alight without getting wet on arrival and can then walk to their respective hotels.Other than the setbacks, our hotel environment is nice and that was our consolation.

"This was a nice place to stay..."
This was a nice place to stay but at $121AUD per night for a standard room it certainly wasn't value for money. I would stay here again but will wait for the low season, so that it's more affordable.
