Over priced, needs TLC
The resort itslef has real potential. superb location and views. the room we were in was also lovely with a carved wooden bed and would have also had a good view although we couldnt see much because the trees needed cutting back. we had a problem with the safe in our room and didnt want to keep carrying the documents about. they said they would fix it. 24 hours later we went to speak to reception for the 3rd time and they said someone had gone to bangkok to get the right screw driver and would be back in 4 days. we only had 3 nights left so this was no good to us. we asked to move rooms which we did but it was just the hassle. we didnt book breakfast at the hotel through fault of my own. they wanted 750 baht which is roughly £15-£16 for 2. i know this doesnt sound awful but in thailand you can eat breakfast and lots of it for 200 baht. the food was frankfurter sausages, toast, pineapple and eggs and pancakes. a fair selection.
the pool was a lovely design. there wwere 2 pools. however the decking was broken and there was a lot of limescale round the edges of the pools. there were random things in random places thoughout the resort like paint pots and bits of bedroom furniture outside under the rooms that were built up on wood.
like i said it was a great view on the cliffs and a lot of walking as its on a steep hill. just majorly over priced per night, for breakfast, for massages and needs tlc.
