Imperial Boat House Beach Resort, Koh Samui  

We stayed here for 3 nights and booked a Boat for the experience. Although this is a nice hotel we did find it very busy and a little like a human factory. The grounds are outstanding with some great flowers and the upkeep is great. Breakfast is a great spread with lots of choices you would not want for anything however very nosey and people everywhere. You have to reserve your sun beds early on the beach otherwise you will find you are out of luck. They lay them out in rows so you are surrounded by people constantly and this gives no peace and quiet. The boat itself is a little tired but really roomy and great for families, the shower in the bathroom was a let down as you could not stand under it and had to hold it to use. However overall a pleasant stay. We checked out after our allotted 3 days and moved down the beach to some beach front bungalows which offered a quieter location and a quieter stretch of beach and felt instantly more relaxed.
