Great Hotel
Clean, friendly with all the amenities - cool colonial style.
Nice Hotel...very poor Check in experience!!
A very nice hotel. Comfortable and a good location. The mall outside the hotel is of good quality and the Irish Pub (Mulligans) is a good place for a beer and a pint with good friendly staff.
The overall experience is let down totally by an inept reception and complete inability to communicate anything about the hotel. A lack of English and of basic hotel introduction lets this hotel down badly. I am checked in .... and that is that. No details about restaurants, check out, wi-fi (which was down!!) Just checked in and led to my room. A feeling that they just wanted me out of the way despite the hotel being virtually empty, who knows what else was taking their priority? My second stay here and both times had a poor check in experience. Shame....the hotel is good, but let down by their front of house staff!!!!

Fantastic hotel,located between chewang and lamai so...
Fantastic hotel,located between chewang and lamai so you have a choice if you want the action.The beach is just the other side of the road,great bar there for sundowners with a lovely view of the bay.A few local bars and restaurants near by but I think for more choice you would have to take the other two options.Although the hotel has a pool I found more of a breeze on the beach,it can get very hot.Plenty of transport into lamai or chewang,like tuk tuks passing frequently.They charge about 50bht during the day but could treble at night and depends on times so expect to pay more if late.
