Convenient
Usually stay at Samran Place when in transition. Convenient - close to BTS and Airport Link.Found rooms to be clean and comfortaqble, Staff are friendly and a good breakfast is served. Generally competitively priced.
quiet but enjoyable
I enjoyed my stay. It's true, the location is not an easy find. But, if you don't want to cab it everyday, rent a scooter! It's great and it's much quicker to get to your destination. Swimming pool sits under the sun all day so, it's nice and warm when you take a dip. Staff are very friendly and just ask when you need something. They will make sure to make your stay very comfortable. Now, here are some things that could be improved. Gym and the massage areas could go for an upgrade. Sometimes, the towels on occasion had stains. A few maintenance repairs inside the room should be scheduled as well. One other note is if you are having breakfast, it's not a buffet table. There are only a few choices that consists of basic items like eggs and bacon with a hot beverage. All I can say overall is the fact that the rate was generously priced for a spacious quiet plot of land next to the Chaweng lake. I stayed for almost a week, and it was splendid. I'm sure you will feel the same. It's not like you are going to spend the whole day in the hotel.....Right?

The hotel is new and the rooms are very nice. The bed was large and the sheets were very nice The staff is very friendly and helpful with helping me get oriented with the area.The pool is gorgeous , had no complaints about this hotel. It was a very comfortable stay.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with everything that you need. It is obviously a new hotel and it still very much has the feel of a small privately-run hotel.
My only criticism is the location. If you are happy to rent a moped then it is no problem at all. But it is a 10-15 minute drive into the centre. There are no amenities within walking distance! So if you are not fussed about the beach or nightlife then the pool is beautiful. However the restaurant closes at 5 so unless you want to cook in the apartment you will have to go into town for dinner. We didnt want to rent mopeds and ending up spending an absolute fortune on taxis (its $10 one way - which in asia goes a long way, especially if you are doing the trip 4 times a day). The hotel do offer a free shuttle service to the beach however this is only one way, one time a day and only between 10am and 4 pm.
the hotel is lovely and great value but the location definitely marred our stay on koh samui, although im sure for many people it wouldnt be an issue at all.

room was lovely and clean. staff were friendly. breakfast was good but was order from a menu not buffet. you will need to hire a bike if you stay here. it is about 20 mins walk to beach but it is hard to do in the heat. the hotel doesnt serve food after 5pm so you will need to walk or drive to get something down at the beach

I stayed here in May 2010 and had an amazing time,the place, staff, and room was excellent and i will be returning to Samui again later in the year to stay at Lakeview.
If you have never visited Kho Samui/ Thialand before then book now and if you appreciate good accommodation, friendly staff and high standards in nice surroundings then book a suite at Lake veiw Condotel you wont be disappointed.

If you are booking i would advise you request a hotel transfer as the hotel is difficult to find first time but easy once you have.

Management in this hotel are very help full and obliging.
Restaurant dose not always have every thing on the menu , but i was not staying there for the food.
Overall a very nice hotel , and very good value
