I would never stay here again.I was welcomed very rudely.I had to be moved to another room because the air con did not work.the main manager was so rude and unhelpful every time i asked for anything.I asked to use the computer,NO not now I asked to call emergence to Australia,No it doesn't work.two days later and 3 times asked.he got me through and would not leave my room not privacy.I asked very nicely to talk to some one that could help in private and they refused so i had to speak my comments in-front of other people.I had to call for toilet paper and then go down stares to get some because one would turn up.I would ask for towels to go to the pool because your not aloud to use the white one,and they rudely say 3 times there are towels.except they forgot i changed rooms.so i went down my self and was rudely excepted again.most of all.I had a massive accident and was in hospital for days.the manager said i know you have a lot of money.looked in my safe wile in hospital and changed the code.thanks mate.

The hotel is in neeed of refurbishment and redecoration. Also calling the block "Ocean Wing" is rather misleading. The reality is there are only 3 rooms with Ocean View. The rooms do not have Internet Connection which in 2007 is frankly unacceptable.

pool much smaler than looks in pictures all hotels in samui have small beach only customers that hotel can stay
no interaction of guests at open beach bars until u get to arc bar
samui much more expensive than pattaya

We stayed at the lake wing section...
We stayed at the lake wing section of this hotel in Aug 06. The lake wing is accross the road from the sea view section which does mean that you need to cross the road if you want to go to the beach, however there is a full time member of staff who stops the traffic for you! The staff at the hotel are more than happy to help you with anything at all. They really do make you feel welcome and are always very happy to see you want ever time of day or night you arrive back. Services at the hotel are brill and our room was cleaned every day to a very high standard. They even provide beach towels for you which are changed every day too! Breakfast isnt too good at the hotel but there are pleanty of bars and cafes to eat at along the strip. The traditional and western food is all very cheap and to a really good standard. There is loads to see and you can jump on a tuk tuk for a very small fare which will take you anywhere.
Check out the boxing for a fun night, And i would recommed going snorkeling, its fab!
You will have a fab time whatever you get up to!
Average hotel compared to the hotels in...
Average hotel compared to the hotels in the same area. Staff are very friendly and helpful.You need to walk 10 minutes to get to the center of the main action (shops and resturants) although there are many stores just next to it. If I go back I will try to look for hotel closer to the center becuase all hotels are located on the beach side and they all enjoy the same water.

The hotel was clean and comfortable dissapointed with the ocean view wing which didnt look out to the ocean. Staff very pleasant. Hotel was very quiet in the evening which suited us. The balcony was very small.
Stayed there for 6 nights in April...
Stayed there for 6 nights in April 2005 with my wife. The rooms are spotless, but we had a noisy air conditioner which (although the staff tried to fix) really was irritating at night when trying to sleep. The complex on the side not fronting the beach probably needs a bit of attention. Would probably look at other hotels if we went back.
