Nice location,nice friendly staff,nice overall apart from the interior of the bungalow,which is in desperate need of updating,& also gives the feeling of being dirty,if you go out for an evening meal avoid Chaweng road & walk along the beach,much more relaxing.

Very basic but had everything you needed...
Very basic but had everything you needed plus was able to sit on the day beds by the pool which were also on the edge of the beach.

We always stay at the Chaweng Resort...
We always stay at the Chaweng Resort everytime we holiday in Koh Samui, located on the southern end of Chaweng Beach, away from the busy central area.. It has 2 swimming pools with lots of Sunbeds overlooking the beach..The rooms are not 5 star but they are very clean and have the usual stuff: A/C, TV, Safe and you can hire a DVD player from the reception.. The staff are always very helpful, and the buffet breakfast was very nice. We will certainly be going back to the Chaweng Resort next time we go to Koh Samui..

Very helpful staff. They tried their best to offer us early check-in at 9 in the morning with free breakfast. Nice environment, close to the sea, with 2 beautiful swimming pools. Breakfast is OK, location is a little bit far from the centre of Chaweng but still in walking distance.

We stayed there for a week in...
We stayed there for a week in January 2008. We'd a very nice bungalow near beach. The beach chairs were good and there were enough chairs even if we came to the beach not until afternoon. Millions of mosquitoes (and they bit badly) and a jellyfish burned me in the sea but that's not the hotel's fault, obviously they can't control wildlife :)

If it's too good to be true,...
If it's too good to be true, then it is ! - Bungalows were very poor - in dire need of an update and overhaul. The bathroom was full of mould ingrained not very nice at all. Staff were nice. Would not recommend unless you were on a tight budget.

I was extremely happy with the hotel....
I was extremely happy with the hotel. It was clean, service was very quick and simple and the breakfast although over too early was very good. We were not happy with our first room because it was too close to the kitchen but the hotel staff gave us a better location immediately with no questions asked. I found the rates more than reasonable. The gym was well equipped but unfortunately too hot to work out in because of no air conditioning. I may be returning to Thailand in January and would definitely stay in this hotel again. I recommend it to anyone looking for a clean hotel, beautiful beach and fair prices.
