Stayed at this hotel twice in 2005...

Stayed at this hotel twice in 2005 and have no complaints whatsoever. The room was nice and cleaned regulary, the pool was set in nice surroundings, which led right down to the beach, and the staff were always helpful (and fit too!). Location is excellent, about half way along the chaweng highstreet and in easy walking distance to all amenities. Ive stayed in many hotels in thailand and this one comes highly recommended.

We stayed in a superior bungalow. I wouldn't say it was superior. It was close to beach nad pool so convenient. Bathroom was a bit grubby. Location was good though for the main street. Not totally impressed though.

this was my first trip to Thailand,great...

this was my first trip to Thailand,great location away from the all the noise all with in walking distance,friendly staff,be patient when checking in and speak English slowly,don't get irate you are on holiday.Good restaurant great beach a really nice place to switch off completely.Will definately go back

I stayed here and have few complaints....

I stayed here and have few complaints. I stayed in a family room and found that it was very clean and always had hot water (rare in Thailand!) The location of the hotel is excellent as it is located south of Chaweng and is only a 3 minute taxi ride from all the action. There is also a 7/11 and an internet cafe outside. The room prices are fairly high compared to others and watch out for the 10% service charge in the hotel restaurant, this caught me out a couple of times. The pool is not fantasic but the hotel opens up to the beach so this kind of makes up for it. Would definately stay here again, as also supplies excellent parking for your moped!

We stayed in Superier garden view room...

We stayed in Superier garden view room in July 2005, we felt for the price this accomodation was fine. Breakfast had a good selection and was included in our room rate - we felt good value for money. Beach is beautiful. However, staff were not as friendly as other places we stayed at while in Thailand - we didn't let that bother us - we just went somewhere else for dinner etc. We would stay again as we spent most of our time on the beach or around the island. The rooms were clean and of average condition. You do get charged for using the coffee sachets in your room!! There is a 7 eleven just outside resort purchase coffee etc there.

We stayed here for 11 nights in...

We stayed here for 11 nights in Feb. '04.We had one of the beachfront rooms which was very old and tired and rarely had hot water.Staff were very cold and stand-offish and it felt like it was a chore for them to talk to you.The breakfast was of poor standard,all the hot food (bacon,eggs,noodles) was always cold.The pool area was very 70's.If you used the coffee sachets in your room,it was charged to your bill,can you believe that!The resort is a 20 minute walk to the main Chaweng bar/restaurant area.Don't waste your money on this dump.
