We decided to stay in this resort after an exhausting internet research in order to find a quietly located and tasteful place for reasonable money.
After our stay we can say that Peace Resort met all our expectations.
Bophut Beach is one of the rather quiet areas on Samui, being perfect for romantic and relaxing vacations, although regarding sea and beach there might be better places on Samui (e.g. water is not as clear and blue as imagined).
The resort itself is beautiful and absolutely tasteful designed offering a big, clean and comfortable pool area with always fresh towels as well as an inviting restaurant, where a very tasty and diversified breakfast is served.
The staff is very friendly and offers helpful and kind service at all time.
The Garden View Villas (which we selected), although the cheapest at this resort, are modern equipped and tastefully furnished while being surrounded by a beautiful and well trimmed tropical garden.
For dinner you can either visit the resort´s restaurant (having the meal served at the beach - very tasty and special but accordingly higher prices) or you can walk to Fishermans Village in the neighbourhood, where a huge variety of restaurants offer great dining opportunities. You can reach the village by a 15 minute footway. Walking there is not very comfortable due to bad lighting and unattractive surrounding, but nevertheless it´s worth it.
When a place is almost perfect, you tend to criticise even tiny aspects - i.e. when our positive points sound convincing, do not hesitate to book.
We can absolutely recommend this resort and would enjoy staying there again.
