We really liked it in this hotel...
We really liked it in this hotel in fact stayed a few extra nights! the rooms are really nice, the bathrooms are very small but it wasnt really a problem! The staff are helpful and the facilities are great as there is a nice sized pool and a few meters walk to the beach which is lush! They have a variety of rooms to suit every budget! I would recomend to go as its a short walk to the main town chaweng which is the best place in samui!

Stayed at this hotel just after New Year from the 4th to 9th jan. I specifically requested a double room however we arrived to be greeted by a huge building site. The hotel is in the process of putting up another building right beside one of the current buildings. We were given a twin room in the building beside the constuction. Did not enjoy my stay at this hotel, location is at the most southern end of Chaweng beach, suppose thats why they call it First house. The standard of the rooms was fine however the bathroom was tiny, had to squeeze around the door before being able to close it.
Rooms were clean and other services fine, however if u plan to stay here ask for a room away from construction or upgrade to one of the better rooms surrounding the pool area.

we had a great time at this hotel. perfect beach, kind of secluded and away from everyone else. the staff was very helpful and friendly . a very nice hotel for not to much money. good food also. we recomend this to our everyone.

This was a great place to stay. The room was very big and nice. The bathroom was good but the shower didn't drain very well. No problems though.
The pool was really good and it was a 2 minute walk to the beach. It waas quick to get to the main shopping strip and eateries too. You could walk or take a short taxi ride.

I have enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Location a little bit out of the centre which is good as i enjoy a good walk and its away from the busy centre. The staff are excellent and very friendly. Breakfast is excellent. Cleaniness is excellent which is the most important for me. Great pool-quite big for a hotel. Atmosphere not great-perhaps a little too quiet but overall i would recommend this hotel.

The staff are some of the nicest smiley people you could ever wish to meet in Thailand and nothing is too much trouble. The standard rooms are spacious and cleaned every day, a two minute stroll over a small bridge leads to a shared and peaceful beautiful beach, this is a very nicely situated hotel with access to money exchange just outside the entrance for best exchange rates and a great laundry service for 100 bhat in the local mini mart.
However the new First Residence hotel being built alongside the standard rooms annexe is literally a few feet away cutting out any view except into each other's windows should you be unlucky enough to be allocated one.
If the price was reflected accordingly with either the standard rooms or the new first residence then i guess it must be worth considering but until that happens i would shop around.

Excellent value, the only thing that reduces the price for this hotel is it's location. Quite a way out from Chaweng beach. For the money though excellent.

My Thailand holiday was without a doubt the best holidy I've ever had. The Hotel staff at first house were very friendly and helpful. I' m planning to come back as soon as I can and will definately be staying at first house again.
Your food was delious and srevice in your restaurant was excellent.
