Great location but be prepared for the...
Great location but be prepared for the steep hill climb to your villa and then to the swimming pool. Loved the jacuzzi at the villa and the lovely pool area with a great view of the bay. Peaceful location away from the madness of Chaweng. The staff were very helpful and efficient and didn't try to rip us off. The Eranda spa next to the resort was amazing and the best massage I had in Thailand.

I had a fabulous time at this place and moreover the food was outstanding. The view was beathtaking and accomations very private. I truely enjoy the mountains joining with the sea. Love this place!!!!

The hotel should be quite nice place except location. The rooms were clean and scenery was very beautiful that we could see the sun rise from the horizon.
As far the location, it takes about 10 mins from high street of Changway beach by taxi. It takes 50B to take taxi. However, rental bike must be the best for everyone to enjoy everything in the beautiful island.

We havent stopped talking about this hotel since getting home. Villa was immaculate and the jacuzzi was cleaned every morning. All of the staff were extremely friendly. All of the facilities were great. It was a bit of a walk to the main area in Chaweng but it was always very easy to get a taxi and on occasions the hotel staff would take us at no cost. Will always stay here when in Koh Samui. This hotel really made our holiday.

Our stay at the Chaweng Bay View Resort Hotel was a lovely one.
The room was great, nice size, very clean and all the staff were very helpful.
I would recommend the resort to anyone.
The resort is just a 2 minute taxi ride to where all the night life and restaurants are so you get the best of both worlds.
I would definitely come back!

This hotel was pretty nice. Just off the beach, that's usually how I like it that way you don't have to worry about beach traffic. You can always cut through one of the hotels if you really want the beach. About 10mins walking distance from the main stretch but the hotel staff offers free rides into town. They also offer rides to your hotel because it is on a pretty steep hill. Staff was nice and friendly, they had a huge christmas party while we were there. The hotel room was nice, they had a villa type deal with a jacuzzi although I never tried it all in all a pretty nice place to stay.

The atomospher was quite beautiful and the staff were very kindly. In addition this, the pool and bar were cool to be sartisfied.
The only worse thing was inconvinient to go down to the town center. It was imposible to go to the town by walk.

The location of resort is really bad, and far a way from the beach, u need at least 30 min walk in order to reach the beach, also its located on top of hill "Cliff", its hard when u get down and going up more harder. The staff doesnt speek english, its hard to let them understand what you wana say, also when they dont get your point they treat u very bad. there are some hiddn charges. Its more into 2~3 stars reost than 4. coz we didnt get good service on our stay, the room is not being cleaned untill u ask for, and hotel have limited facilities, only small pool, and lmited menu on the break fast that is not a buffet stayle. Also they have have lady boy between their staff on the reception that he treated us very badly during our stay in terms of body langauge and our requsts, and dutly manager is not around most of the time, and when we have complain, no action is taken. sorry but i dont recomand this hotel to any one, and i will never come back.

Lovely place to stay, price was right no comments particularly except that damn hill! however they will golf buggy you to the top if you ask!!
Cabbies will take the piss to get you from the beach to your hotel due to them having a one way system in Chaweng! dont pay more than 150 Baht
