Staying on Beach
he Hotel was next to the Chaweng Beach and u can walk directly to the Beach. The Breakfast was excelent und u get everything to eat normaly European people like. To find the Hotel was difficult because it was in side some soi and there was no sign outside. When we arrived and went to the room some bugs inside the shower, also the towles where missing. The room i thought was to small for to people, because the most of the space was for the bed. For the luagage didn´t was enough space. For upgrade u have to book again with asia rooms if noot u have to pay the normal price for rooms, also the hotel was not full booked because of raining session. I´m not sure but the most beatiful area i thought was Krabi and also the Hotels there realy nice for have some nice stay.

This hotel is in a very good location to the main section of the main street. The breakfast is lovely and the staff very friendly and welcoming. The only problem was that we had to upgrade our room to one nearer to the pool as the previous accomm was a little shabby and small.

The hotel is based on the best...
The hotel is based on the best part of chaweng beach and thrives with jet skis which is a lot of fun. We stayed in a pool villa room which was really nice as only 10 other rooms surrounded the pool - almost private in other words!! The one thing that let it down was the breakfast as everything was just a bit old, stale or just not well cooked. But the resort itself is great and the pool bar is great for relaxing after a full day of activities. Really close to Tops supermarket too so you can stock up on anything you need. Right in the heart of Chaweng and right on the beach - can't ask for more at the price!

Facilities were good, and location was perfect. Right in the middle of the shopping and clubbing area in Samui. Beach front was amazing. Only complaint was bathroom, which was small and not of the same standard as the room or pool etc. Definitely good for those who don't mind a small room, but need good location.

Overall Hotel basic but on the best...
Overall Hotel basic but on the best part of the beach. Nightlife right on the doorstep. And they dont charge any extra for a guest to stay. I thourght that was a touch. This place is ideal for young couples and singles looking for a good time. Very reasonable would probably stay again.

We stayed in a D/G room for...
We stayed in a D/G room for three nights at Al's Resort. It'was pretty acceptable for us in general. But this catalogue rooms were obviously worn out and every thing in the room was old yet still functioning except the flush toilet was stuck once while during our stay. However, glad to see that the renovation had already commenced from one side of the two rows of this kind therefore, the next stay shall be more comfortable in those rooms. The breakfast was good enough to the stander of the resort providing asian and western food and basic beverage like tea, coffee and juice not bad at all. I like the pool although it's bit of small but it's right at beach front where you could easily watch the activities there and the view of sea. We were there in low season(end of May)felt very relaxed and the hotel and beach were uncrowded. But we can imagine what would be like in high season for the hotel as the overall intense lay out of courtyard rooms and villas close to one by one in which you need to shade the window and the big glass door with curtains for the privacy most time of your stay. The unbeatable thing of Al's Resort is its location in each aspect . About 15 minutes from/to the airport by wheel, and stands on a good point at Chaweng Becach with nice white fine sands I would say so too. But the water sports started quite early of the day and getting much heavy in the afternoon so it was a bother for the swimmer like me. The most import factor for us to choose this resort was the value for money: around 1,600 Baht net per night inclusive of tax and daily breakfast for two to stay in Deluxe Garden Room of a hotel at middle of Chaweng Beach with many eateries, shops, money exchanges nearby and a supermarket within 5 minutes' walk, that really was a genuine bargain and nothing you can complain. We appreciated that Asia's Room found the such good deal for us and their reliable booking as well. For those who are the fist time about to visit Koh Samui, we recommend Al's Resort for you as your initial base to explore the island and hope you enjoy the stay like we did.
