The Beach republic was a lovely place...
The Beach republic was a lovely place to relax, very private villas. Staff are great, but could learn a little more English, overall a great holiday.

Room size, cleanliness and service were all great. The pool was fantastic and it was a really comfortable place to relax.
The only down-sides are that it is a little way away from the main strips...but taxis are regular and it also doesn't have a reception, so checking in was a little confusing.

Overall our stay in Lamai villas was wonderful, i will recomended it to couples and to families with older children. The pool is fantastic and very private. The bedroom is bit small but the living area is nice with small kitchen and dining table facing the pool. The bathroom is great. The service is excellent. They even provide for us baby cot, baby chair and transport to the airport. I didn't like the breakfast which was raw eggs(you should cook it) ,some fruit, bread, corn flakes, cheese and jam every day. There was no access to the beach beacuse of constructions in the near area which was annoying sometimes.

Lamai Villa's was a wonderful spot to stay in Koh Samui. The villa we stayed in, was perfect! The pool was suprisingly big. The outdoor living space was lovely, over looking the swimming pool. The outdoor bathroom and toilet can be accessed directly from the bedroom and from the outdoor living area and pool. The Bathroom facilities were very good. The shower is excellent! Becarefull of the birds, as they get a bit hungry around breakfast time too. They especially liked the bread. It was a little bit noisy during the day due to construction nearby. However there seems to be alot of construction anywhere you go on koh samui. The staff were lovely, and even spoiled me on my birthday. The flowers and cake were a very nice surprise. Lamai villa's go to all lengths to make sure your stay is wonderful.
Lamai Villas is a row of villas...
Lamai Villas is a row of villas each with a walled garden and quite a big pool at the north end of Lamai Beach.
It's not a gated community and it's quite far away from Lamai village and a rental car is highly recommended.
Lamai Beach is not a nice beach for swimming as the water is shallow even 100 or 200 meters away from the beach with lots of rocks. As everywhere in Thailand, there is lots of construction going on on Lamai Beach including a Spa being built between the Lamai Villas and the beach.
The terrace of each villa is the open air living room and kitchen. This is actually quite nice. The only rooms with aircon are the two bed rooms as the bathroom at the back of the villa is open air, too.

We stayed here at the end of...
We stayed here at the end of April and it was absolutely beautiful. We arrived here late in the evening and from the moment I opened the door into the garden, I knew it was perfect. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful but at the same time allowed you your privacy. Everything is based outdoors, the only closed in area was the bedrooms, reading this you would think it sounds too much but everything was so private even though it was all in the open even from the balcony upstairs you could not see anything other than your own area which was exactly what we were looking for. In the photos, we got the impression that the pool was smaller than it was so that was an extra bonus again. Staying here is a little out of Lamai and you would need transport to get back and forth but taxis are easy to come by so going out for a night it does not make any difference. All and all, I have to say I would definity stay here again.

Based on this pricing, you own the villa with 6.8M x 4M private pool (dept max approx. 1.5M), one master living room and one guest living room on 2nd floor with two beds. Two bathrooms but no bathtub. Big open kitchen and dining room. Excellent for a family (a couple with two children) for vacation. Prompt and good service is highly appreciated.
But the cleanliness needs to be improved. Free internet service is good but cannot enter into their network even having their password. Free pick up service is also good for us to save money.
But no sea view as whole villa is surrounded by wall.
