Luxurious Accomodation
Pros: The villa I stayed at is great! It was so comfortable, aesthetically appealing and relaxing sometimes it was hard to leave to go play elsewhere. The staff was very polite, warm, friendly, kind and very helpful. I was pampered. The restaurant food was gourmet. Prices around 250 baht for soup and higher for other meals i.e. 500 baht. The swimming pool is beautiful but only about 4ft (1.2 m) deep.
Cons: I wish the room had a full length mirror (i.e. in the bathing area). It is isolated from other activities. It does not have a nice sandy beach or good place nearby for ocean swimming (was dirty water). It is not within walking distance of other things such as a good beach, multiple restaurants, shopping. There are about 4 nearby outdoor restaurants. Have to use their complimentary shuttle that only goes to Chaweng Beach Road and has limited drop off/pickup times (1pm,5pm / 1:30pm, 5:30pm), or a Taxi (250baht one way) or rent a vehicle. Also it would have been extremely useful if they provided a service helping the guests determine what to do during their stay. To do this use one of the many tour booking companies located on Chaweng Beach road. Chaweng beach road has many restaurants, bars, shopping and walking distance to beaches/swimming in the ocean.
Overall a great place to stay, just be prepared to pay for transportation or be limited to a their complimentary shuttle service when ready to play around Koh Sumui. The only reason I would not stay here again is because of its inconvenient location to other activities (I am too chicken to ride a motorcycle and too cheap to pay 500 baht round trip each time I want to go anywhere).

The food was very good and the staff was very nice with us.
This Resort has a Spa and a little gym.
The Spa offers differents massages and cosmetic treatment.
We tried the Thai massage. However is more expensive than in other places,
they do it very nice. You would fell like new after having one of them.

A perfect location for a nice, quiet & romantic holliday. We recommend the seafront pool villa with a nice view of Chaweng. It's location just at the end of the beach is perfect: quiet but not too far from the busy street if you want to go shopping or having dinner, though the hotel restaurant has enough to offer with a really competitive price!
We also recommend the BBQ at the pool villa!

This is a very nice hotel. My husband and especially my 2 kids enjoyed very much (even though there isnt much activities for kids). They were fascinated with the jacuzzi and the unique round bathtub. Further, the hotel was quiet and we had lots of privacy at the pool.
On the last day of my departure, i saw the arrivial of those gym euipment. Being a gym fanatic, it was a shame but if there is a chance for me to be back at Samui, i will still go for Sarann.
One thing to improve is the breakfast. The choice is rather limited. And the beach is also a disappointment.

We spent our Honeymoon at the newly opened Sarann and it was just wonderful! The staff were very friendly and really went out of their way for us. It was in a fantastic location, close enough to the action, but far enough away to enjoy the serenity if thats what you want to do. Highly recommend the beach front villa's with pool, ours was perfect! All in all, a perfect holiday and we will recommend this resort to all of our friends!

Beautiful Brand New Hotel (some building still occuring in September 2008 - however all communal areas complete to high standard and major building work complete - did not effect us in any way).
We booked a beach front villa with private infinity pool. Incredible views, lovely pool, excellent facilities with free drinking water replenished daily. Good menu with excellent room service.
Tours were arranged efficently and so were hotel transfers to the airport. Very reasonable at £10.
Location wonderful for peace and quiet. Hotel built on rocks 3 minutes from main Chewang Noi beach. This was perfect as other holiday makers can not wander past front of private villas, just the beautiful sea.
Chewang Noi is a nicer beach that Chewang as you can get inexpensive taxi or 30 minute walk along the beach to Chewang itself. This way you can visit the hustle and bustle, sights, smells and noises of Chewang and return to CHewang Noi for calm and stillness.
Highly recommend this hotel and its staff, beach and location. A must for business, couples and honeymooners!!!!!!!!!!
