The staff were very friendly and our...
The staff were very friendly and our room was upgraded for free. They arranged for our temporary scooter, shuttle service to and from the airport (1 way free), and cleaned the room up nicely every day. The pool was nice and breakfast included in the room price. We stayed there before going to KohPhangan and decided to spend our last night on Samui at MayaBuri again because we so enjoyed the first stay. Great value and hospitality!

We stayed here for 18 days and...
We stayed here for 18 days and loved it. The staff were friendly, helpful and of course always smiling. The pool was clean and well positioned amongst the rooms for easy access. Access to the hotel from shops and eateries was a 10 min walk or few min bike ride. Free Wifi in your room or at hotel reception. The hotel management arranged regular group meals as way of connecting the guests although we didn't take advantage of this since we were always away during the day and evenings. Complementary breakfast was simple and healthy with additional options which could be purchased. Overall we loved the hotel and would stay there again. If you're on a budget it may be a little on the pricey side compared to what else is available around the island.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the resort.With the use of a rented motorcycle, we had access to everything.We would recommend this holiday to anyone.and plan on returning in the not too distant future. Cheers.

The location is the only drawback allthough...
The location is the only drawback allthough it is away from all the hustle. You need a car or motorbike to get around, we hired motorbike for 250THB / day which was great, only 8 minutes from the main beach and shopping area of Chaweng. The rest of this resort is just beautifull, great room and bathroom, big pool close to all rooms and very good breakfast. You can always get a cheap taxi to anywhere too. Patrick, Sydney Australia

We have stayed in this hotel for...
We have stayed in this hotel for family holidays. We have enjoyed the confort of the rooms but th emost enjoyable of all was the swimming pool...Our children aged 5 and 3 really loved the place and this a great resort for families.

We spent 2 nights here, and had a free upgrade to the Presidents Suite, however I saw a Delux room we were meant to have had, and it was first class. This Hotel with friendly Staff, Good Food, and a great Pool and Spa, was one of the best I have ever stayed in. Location could have been better, but what the hell you cannot have every thing. Excellent.

Nice hotel at a very good location...
Nice hotel at a very good location nearby Koh Samui's area's Chaweng Beach and Bo Phut. You need a motorcycle or car though to go to the center (or somewhere else, like to the beach). Rooms are neat, clean and comfortable. Airco works perfectly. Friendly staff. This hotel is a good starting place to explore Koh Samui during several days. Within 15 minutes you are at the mainroad that leads to several tourist attractions and beaches. There is a small pool for a nice cool dip after a long day driving and walking around. You can rent a motorbike at the reception. Overall impression is very nice, especially if you consider the price, which is much lower than other hotels. Very good value for money!

On the pictures on Asia rooms it...
On the pictures on Asia rooms it looked unbeliveible!! but when we got there it was'nt as nice!! i feel it was a bit pricey for the the accommadation we had, the food was ok and because none of the waitress spoke english they kept getting our order wrong!! the rooms were very clean, and you will definatly need to hire a moped or car because its a bit far out!!

I stayed here for a one night...
I stayed here for a one night stop over in transit. It was clean , staff were friendly , rooms were nice and bathrooms. The pool and surrounds were also new and modern. I asked for baby cott and got a duvet to put on ground that would be my only negative. It is away from beach but if that doesn't bother you I would suggest to stay here. Two thumbs up from me!!

This is our second time to Koh...
This is our second time to Koh Samui and we are very clear on what type of vacation we want - a relaxing week long holiday for a family with two young children, and one that won't cost us a bomb. Maya Buri is perfect for our needs as it has a very nice swimming pool which my children spent endless hours in, the room & bathroom is large, clean and comfortable. And most importantly, it is very reasonably priced. The major draw back is its location - in the middle of a local village. It took me 25 mins to walk to the main street, but it can be overcome by renting a motorbike (150B/day) or a car. Being close to the local also allows me taste some local dishes which are fantastic and cheap. This hotel will cost U$80-100 if it is located in Chaweng or Lamai. So, I am a very happy customer at the end.
