Great Deal, Friendly, Spacy and Clean.
I stayed in Samui Heritage resort for 2 nights with a great deal at 980B/night, it's really worth it. The room is spacy and clean, staffs are very friendly and helpful. It was a great experience.
The staff gave me brief "map tour guide" when I checked in. it's really helpful.
They provide 2 umbrellas in the room (closet) in case it rains outside. I think it's really thoughtful, especially as a budget hotel. the only thing may need to improve is some of light bulbs are not working, but I think it can surely be fixed.
The place is surrounded by trees and plants, so it is expected you'll see some insects. I am a city person and I don't like any insect, however, I'm fine with this place, it's clean enough for a place surrounded by trees.
I will recommend Samui Heritage Resort to my friends.
Though priced on the higher side, this hotel was well worth every penny we spent on it. It is conveniently located in close proximity to the beach, is in a nice part of the island and has easy access to shops, bars, restaurants etc. Their dining room meals are excellent- freshly cooked, plentiful and easy on the pocket.The spa/ massage facilities too quite nice.The staff are friendly and helpful.Overall a very nice experience and one I would definitely recommend to others.
Charming is the first word that comes...
Charming is the first word that comes to mind when describing The Samui Heritage Resort. Although it is definitely a "boutique" resort, it has all the amenities you might need. In overpriced Samui, this hotel was a refreshing surprize. The suite was superb without losing its south sea island charm. Everything worked. In fact, this was the only place we have ever stayed at in Thailand, where the free WiFi internet access worked. Breakfast was a little disapointing but sufficient and the food is rather bland. We don't generally eat at the hotels, we stay at, so this didn't bother us at all. The free shuttle to and from Chaweng Town was a treat, as the taxi kartells on Samui can really put a dent in your budget (BKK times 10). The distance from the beach was not a problem and it had the added advantage that we weren't kept awake all night by the party crowd. Proximity to the Fisherman's Village was a definite advantage (go there for your evening stroll - but especially on Friday evening).
Great place! If we ever come back to Samui - which is less than likely - we would definitely stay here again.
