value for your money
we were lucky to be there on Thursday for the night market or else this town can be quite boring. Jus b4 our check theres not a single drop of water around the hotel. Breakfast was good overall Its valve your money
nice place
have to say that the staff are very helpful,the sea is one minute walk from the hotel and shops 2-3 mins away, the only problem is that there was no,tv,fridge or wardrobe in my room,just bed and then a shower room,but i was told you need to upgrade for these basic things, so if you are booking you need to book the best priced rooms . but saying that i would stay there again,location is great to get around and the staff are realy help full.
A great place to relax
We stayed 6 nights in 2 superior villa's, the room was big enough, great king size bed, good working airco, fridge, big nice bathroom with rainshower and a private veranda with a loung cushion and enough privacy. Clean towels and complimentary water every day.
The pool is excellent, the beach is a view stepps away from the resort, just as the centre of Mae Nam. Don't miss the night market on thursday evening. There are a view restaurants in the area and some shops on the main road.
If you have any questions, just ask the staff , they are very friendly and helpful.

Lovely resort you get what you pay for!
Just got back from an amazing holiday on Koh Samui. We stayed at the Hutcha resort for 9 nights as a friend was getting married on the island. The Hutcha Resort offers basic affordable accommodation and for the price we payed we really couldn't complain. The riverside villas were old fashioned but clean and comfortable. The air conditioning unit woprked perfectly and I liked the fact that we could choose when we wanted the maids to clean our room by hanging a sign on the door.... this meant that we weren't uneccesarily disturbed in the mornings. The breakfast was basic and consisted of eggs and bacon, croissants, fruit and toast and the lumch and evening meal menu was excellent with lots of choice and the food was lovely! The pool area was lovely with plenty of sun loungers!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for fairly cheap accommodation in a quiet and sleepy part of Koh Samui!
Koh Samui Ideal location
Hutcha Resort is perfect for the person or people who are looking for a holiday on Koh Samui, but who are not looking for a typical 'brit' night life with bright lights and young people on the streets trying to drag you into bars.
The whole island is accessable from Maenam and the hotel have scooters to hire out to you, which I certainly reccommend, as it is a great, affordable way to see the island and be your own boss whilst doing so!

Great value for money!
Ourselves and 5 friends stayed at the Hutcha for 10 nights, it is a very quiet resort but as there were 7 of us we made our own fun! Rooms are very clean and great value for money. We originally booked the superior room buut upgraded to a superior villa as soon as we saw the room it was very small with nowhere to hang any clothes would be ok for a short stay but could never stay there for 10 nights!!! Breakfast was good, ate food by the pool at lunch time....good value. Great service from reception, to house keeper to bar men...everyone was very friendly and helpfull! the hotel is right next to Maenam village with plenty of restaurants to eat out. it is very quiet though apart from the Thursday night market, which has amazing food and cocktails! I would recommend hiring a scooter to go to other parts of the island.

Soo quiet and secluded place
this hotel is good for the person who likes stay in quiet area..very calm.
