Carpe Diem Hotel, Koh Samui  

If you're looking for a nice, quiet place in a brilliant location (Fisherman's village is absolutely fabulous. Nice, quaint place with awesome food places. Not very big on the party scene though. For that, go to Chaweng which is about 20 mins away by scooter), then go to this hotel. It's pretty basic in that it is a small hotel with only a few rooms which have a very comfortable bed and are very clean. There is a small swimming pool as well to splash around in. But it's a very affordable hotel and the staff is very, very helpful. The response is very prompt and help you out any way they can.
We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food. They only serve breakfast though so keep that in mind. Don't let that effect your judgement because the street the hotel is on (which is like a small quaint street next to the beach) is full of amazing places to eat. Oh, also, the hotel doesn't have sea-views to those that are wondering.
Definitely recommend this hotel to any budget travelers who want a quiet little place to stay in.
