Boutique with all the noise of the strip
Very dissapointed with this hotel and layout. This was advertised as being on the quiet section of beach but this was incorrect. The noise from local area and surrounding night clubs meant we only stayed one night and did our dough as it was unable to be refunded. Recommend not staying here if you are looking for a relaxing quiet time along the beach.
Kirikayan Review
This is a great little hotel to stay in - boutique rather than grand resort. Felt like a small group of serviced apartments rather than a hotel. It is positioned perfectly on Chaweng Beach - at the quieter end away from the commercial activities but still close enough to walk to or take a short bike/taxi ride. The small pool is perfect to cool down in and the beach is at the doorstep. Also beautiful to to swim in. The staff are very relaxed, friendly & helpful. I have no complaints. I would not recommend to families though as it does not cater for children (perfect!).
We have just returned from a week...
We have just returned from a week here and would love to go back in the future. If you like a small boutique hotel in a perfect setting, you will love this hotel. It is brand new and has the best location in Chaweng at the far south end of the beach which is quiet with easy access to all the action. The hotel's service and marketing are very good and they have promotion such as happy hour for both drinks and massages in the open air cabanas near the beach with prices comparable with those on the beach. The rooms are modern and have all you need and we particularly liked the shower/wet room. The only pitfall would be if you end up staying on the right hand side of the hotel (building 1) as there is some construction next door, but we stayed on the left hand side (building 2) which is perfect. We have also stayed at the Buri Rasa which is another boutique hotel and now we would be spoilt for choice if we went back as to which to stay at again as both are very good. In conclusion, loved it and only sorry to have to leave.
