Just great
The only thing missing is a beutiful beach on the island. Othervise perfect!
We were very surprised upon check in...
We were very surprised upon check in to realize we had no hot water although we did book for an A/C standard room. The room was very basic with not even a closet to stack clothes, nor a table or a chair to sit on aside from the bed. The lighting was so dim that we had to use a flashlight to read at night.
Furthermore, our room was at the top of a hill with many steep steps overlooking the road at the entrance of the hotel grounds, with the noise of pick up trucks passing.
The so-called beach is certainly not inviting close to the pier where the ferry arrives.

This hotel is the best I saw on Koh Tao. I recommend it to everyone who wants to have a top hotel in a quiete location close to resturants and bars.

Hotel is close to the pier, you can walk or if you inform the hotel they pick you up at the pier. during the day its noisy from the many boats, water dosn't look very nice. but you are close to other restaurants, shops and divecenters.
hotel-staff was very friendli, bungalow was clean, next time we choose one with a/c, only with fan its to hot.
to get to other beaches rent an motorbike, but not the smallest, they are not strong enough!
It is a beautiful place to stay...
It is a beautiful place to stay ! We booked a standard room with fan (because AC was too expansive). We were welcomed with a welcome cocktail and a bellboy to carry our luggages in the bungalow. The bungalow was very harmonious, in the pure thai style tradition, very clean. The bar of the hotel is also beautiful and cheap. You can eat and drink delicious dishes for cheap ! Beach is beautiful and leather beachchairs are lovely ! Employees are cheerful, helpful. A great place I would recommend to anyone !
I stayed for 3 nights at Sensi...
I stayed for 3 nights at Sensi resort. The pickup at ferry pier worked perfect. The welcome at reception and the paper handling was very friendly and fast. The Thai houses are made authentic with a lot of feelings. There was no cupboard (or equaling) to put the closes. Toilet and shower was a little primitive but clean. Restaurant was very good and the outside sitting on the rocks is super romantic. Very friendly services. The beach is small but ideal for snorkeling as some rocks are just in front of Sensi. Some good bars, restaurant and market in short walking distance. Check out and baggage handling to the ferry pier was perfect. Value for money is in a good balance. If I stay at Koh Tao again, then Sensi would be in the top list.
Located not too far from the centre...
Located not too far from the centre of MaE Haad, easy walking distance. Set in very quite surroundings these huts are lovely. Staff could be a little abrupt on times. Excellent restaurant.
Stayed at Sensi Paradise hotel one night...
Stayed at Sensi Paradise hotel one night in October 2006 upon reccomendation from a friend.
We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children, aged 4 and 11.
The hotel was very charming and the Family villa we stayed in was really nice and spacious. Great furniture and very good taste.So far everything was good. But the location of the hotel is NOT GOOD !
Practically in the harbour ! There is a small strech of beach, around 10 meters, not more, and being VERY close to the pier and all the ferries, the water was very dirty! Plastic bottles,oil on the surface etc.
We had one look at it and decided to go to the private beach that the hotel reccomended, Jamson Bay.
Jamson Bay belongs to the hotel Charm Churée Villa and it´s a 10 minute walk. When we arrived at the beach we had to pay 100 bath per person and were only allowed to put our towels On the beach, not use the sunchairs...The beach was REALLY romantic but no good for kids since it consisted of corals. In my opinion though, Charm Churée Villa is an outstanding place to spend Your romantic holidays. Incredible location and VERY nice staff, a much better choice than Sensi Paradise. After 1 night we changed hotel to Coral Grand Resort, at the very north end of Sairee beach.
And what a good choice! Big pool, nice bungalows and an incredible beach with crystal clear water, very shallow and great for children.And Cheaper than Sensi Paradise !
