Pure Luxury....
We were greeted of the ferry and whisked away to the beautiful resort that is Charm Churee....we were informed on our arrival of our free upgrade to a superior room which meant a balcony with sun loungers plus the dual table an chairs and a gigantic double bed suitable for 4!!!...the staff are amazingly friendly without being overly present, the beach is incredible and even more so in the knowledge it is for guests only so never too full...snorkelling just in the bay is great with the added bonus of an on site dive school for if you want to explore that little bit further!!!...100% recommended and I was sad to have to say goodbye!!!
The Charms of Charm Churee
We had a great time staying at Charm Churee - the staff were fantastic - very helpful, friendly and efficient with helping us to organise trips and transport. The room was good with a lovely view out to Jansom Bay, and we enjoyed the food and the service from lovely waiters that we had at breakfast and dinner there. We loved our pineapple and coconut lassi drinks on the beach. The sun loungers that are set up down on the beach are fabulous - but you have to be in quick to get them! At the Padi dive school there, I did a dive with Andy, and he was a fantastic instructor and made me feel comfortable.Thanks Andy. We both made use of the Charm Churee Spa treatments and they were wonderfully relaxing and a real treat. The ladies did an awesome job. Thanks.Overall a wonderful time was had at Charm Churee Villas.
Three things I will mention however, are 1) you are not allowed to wear fins in Jansom Bay when snorkelling, and while this is a good thing for the marine environment, it was a bit disappointing for us as keen snorkellers,
2)Charm Churee is set on steep hills and you need to negotiate many steps every time you want to go anywhere within the resort. If you don't enjoy hill work,this is not the place for you,
3)It wasn't as peaceful as we thought it might be - loud music playing at night, and noisy longtail tourist boats during the day that have engines that sound like lawn mowers.

Although is not very convenient to go to the restaurant from the room, and go to the town from the villa, it is good enough to have a private bay which is very good for snorkeling, good enough to have a rich meal, good enough to have good service.
I only recomend this hotel if you...
I only recomend this hotel if you get the superior room. The diference is huge between the regular and the superior room.
At the begining we got a regular room and it was just OK but we changed to a superior room and it was really nice.
The hotel is well located and it has a very nice walk to town. It also have a beautiful private beach and a nice restaurant
A very enjoyable stay at Charm Churee....
A very enjoyable stay at Charm Churee. We particularly enjoyed snorkelling in the hotel's private bay and dining at the excellent value for money restaurant with a stunning position on the rocks overlooking the sea. Hotel staff were very polite and helpful.

Fantastic stay. Upgraded to Panorama room. Friendly staff. Lots of steps. Lovely snorkelling off the beach. 5 minutes walk to the town. Lots to do for families. Friendly staff. Breakfast a bit tired, but overall great value for money.

A VERY ENJOYABLE VISIT.EXCELLENT,FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF.THE HOTEL HAD A VERY RELAXED ATMOSPHERE AND THE LOCATION WAS STUNNING.OWN PRIVATE BEACH FOR SNORKLING,FREE USE OF SNORKELS,MASK ETC.
HAD A COMPLIMENTARY ROOM-UPGRADE.
GIVEN THE POSITION OF THE HOTEL WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR SENIORS AS THERE ARE MANY STEEP STEPS .
