Directions

The easiest way to reach Koh Tao and Jamahkiri is by boat via the island of Koh Samui, which is close and has an airport with many daily domestic flights to and from all major airports in Thailand, as well as several international locations.

We recommend this method of travel.

Alternatively, boats to Koh Tao can also be boarded at the city of Chumphon, which can be reached easily by bus, minibus or train from other locations in Thailand.

From Chumphon and Koh Samui there are two boat companies, with two daily services each, to and from Koh Tao :
1 – Lomprayah High Speed Catamaran at www.lomprayah.com
2 – Seatran Discovery at www.seatrandiscovery.com
The trip from both locations takes approximately two hours.
