Think again...
Worst room I ever stayed in and very poor service! Everything was dirty, the room smelled and the shower and sink were terrible... result; the whole bathroom filled with water after a short shower. I must say that the location was good and the view from the restaurant was gorgeous. Nevertheless, there are plenty of other hotels/resorts on the same beach which, I'm sure, provide better value for your money.
Customer service could definitely be better! (especially compared to the rest of Thailand)
Lots of construction was going on while we stayed there (December rush) so it was very noisy and it looked like a building site (not really what you have in mind when you visit Ko Toa) there was NO sleeping in, the pounding of hammers started at 7am Every day. We advise they reschedule the construction and maintenance schedule.
The accommodation is basic and clean, but there is better accommodation available on the island at a better rate and that is situated better.
We would advise they provide at least a king size sheet to sleep under and not just a 3/4 towel for the king size beds.
The restaurant is very nice with good service!

Not very friendly atmosphere and staff took every opportunity to try and get money out of us - even overcharging us for meals, breakfast was only the cheapest on the menu anything over the minimum price had to be paid for as extra.
