great service.
the resort offered great service, and because it was our first trip there, there gave us a free upgrade of our rooms. initially we only bought the cheapest deluxe room, but knowing that it was our first time there, the staff offer us a poolside room!!!
service was prompt and good.
location of the resort is a lil disappointing that what we expect. it was quite a distance away from the "main area" of the aonang beach. even walking towards the other beach was pretty far too.
takes about 8-10mins.
but it sure does offer some peace and tranquility from the noisy, busy street.

And so it rains in the room..
Arrived early and was immediately given a room as the staff thought that we could get some rest after the early morning flight. Service was excellent and Front desk staff all spoke very good english. The aircon leaked on the first night and they promised to get it fixed the next day. Despite the repair, it leaked again and we were given a new room.
The walls are pretty thin and we could hear the couple next door in their moments of intense ecstasy.. Even with their tv turned up very loudly.
The breakfast was disappointing, but the massage service was heavenly and it costs only 300 baht.

Small Room and Tiny Pool
Room is slightly small for few friends to sit around. Pool is super small, very crowded if there are more than 4 persons in the pool swimming. Balcony is super tiny, I kept knocking into the chairs and tables at the balcony. If you are a pure vegetarian, the breakfast spread will disappoint you. You basically don't have much to eat except bread and fruits. For hygiene purposes, it is advisable that the hotel stuff remember to cover the fruits as there are flies around.
Overall nice environment, well decorated, just lacking in terms of spaciousness. Since the hotel is located at quite a distance from the beaches and at isolated area, I really wonder why the space of the hotel and pool are so limited.

Nice room but with drainage problem
My friend and I were given quite a nice room facing the pool, bed is super nice to sleep in, the interior is nice, but we soon found out the washing basin had drainage problem and later at night we found out that the shower area had drainage problem as well. I couldn't finish my shower at the shower area as the water couldn't flow down the pipes, water level was up till the curb level. I have to continue my shower at the non-showering area or in the bath tub. The water got stuck till the next day. The location of hotel is along a secluded lane with constructions going on, quite a long walk to the Nopharat Thara beach, and even further to walk to the Aonang Beach. Not very worth $44 per night to put up with the drainage problem and distance from the beach.
Great room except with many mosquitos upon check-in.
Book a pool access room and deluxe room. Pool access room are great but with quite a lot of mosquitos when check-in and dosent come with a bath room as compared to the deluxe room which is at a cheaper rate.
A very good experience with Aree Tara Resort. Customer service is definitely the most commendable. The people working there are always full of smiles and helpful. No major complaints for the price we are paying for. The only few downsides i can think of is the location and the food. Location is slightly off the main streets and beach. About 5-10minutes walk. However, it is very peaceful and it feels safe as there are a few other hotels nearby. Breakfast is free but the quality of the food is only so-so. Overall, the stay in Aree Tara Resort is good.
very frindly hotel and valueable
The staff are very friendly and helpful . When I ask to book the Local tour and taxi , they help me a lot and very patience. I stay in the deluxe room which has the pool view. The room is clean and chic. Because there are some trees nearby , beware some small bug when you are eating in the restaurant . Compare with other same price hotel , Aree tara is good to stay and maybe I'll come back again next time in Krabi.
