Very good hotel at a good location...
Very good hotel at a good location with a beautiful mountain view. Wonderful pool area. We had Deluxe room, which was good because it was on the 3rd floor and had much space and terrific view overlooking the pool and the mountain. Good breakfast but it could have had some more variety. But there is something for everyone. Complimentary 4-5 o´clock tea was a nice touch. We'll be back!

This hotel is in an excellent location situated right on the beach and close to shopping and restaurants. The long tail boats are located on beach infront of hotel. AoNang Hotel has large clean rooms with two seprate pool areas with pool bars. Both pools are large and really lovely. The breakfast is fantastic with plenty of international variety. The only complaint is the gym only opens at 9am and breakfast finishes at 10 or 10.30 so to have a gym workout in the morning you would have to miss out on breakfast, although after some organisation they would open the gym earlier for us if we requested a day in advance. There is internet available for 100bht an hour but over our week stay there was only 2 out of 4 computers working most of the time so sometimes it was a bit of a wait. Staff are all very friendly and we would definately reccommend AoNang Villa Hotel.

The aircondtioning was very noisy and it didn't work properly. My room was freezing at 10 degrees. If I switched it off the room would get very stuffy as it was hot outside. If found a cockcroach in the bathroom after the room had been cleaned!!
As it was low season, I don't think the hotel cared much about their customers... there was a lot of maintenance going on.
The hotel is in a good location and right on the beach. But the state of the room made my stay at the hotel memorable for the wrong reasons.

A delightful place. Rooms clean and spacious. Air conditioner temperature controlled by guest. Great breakfast selection. For westerners whose palate does not take kindly to rice and fish to start the day, do not worry. A huge selection from Muesli to bacon to omelets. Dinner prices most reasonable, but a large number of restaurants close by make for a great selection. They have Gideon bibles in each room. Only one slight negative. The pool temperatures are a little too warm. But then the sea is only a few steps away, so no problem when you desire a total immersion cool-down.

We stay in AoNang Villa for 3nite, is a wonderful stay. since is a low season(30jun-3jul) when we were there is not so crowded with people. The resort is very near to the beach just walk through the pool and you will see the ao nang beach. As for the room,well the size of the room is good to fit 2 adults and one 6yrs old gal. they had 2 big nice pools, one is near to the beach (dolpin pool other is near to the resort garden which known as coral pool, which is bigger.)deverything in the resort is good.Only complaint is that the air-condition is noisy.

This is a fantastic hotel. Services, facilities, amenities were very good. The stairs could be a problem for some seniors. I can't be sure if wifi is in the rooms as I did not use it, ie my score for business users, although there was internet in reception.

This is a very nice hotel with lovely grounds and two great swimming pools. We had room 6206 which was a connecting room and we could here a lot of noise from the room next door. I complained to reception and she said the next door room was now empty and if she wasn't too busy she would keep it free. We had one night of peace and then someone moved in next door who was part of a big group who were very noisy. We were woken up thinking someone was trying to break in but it was only other tenants knocking on the doors of their friends. It was so loud it was if they were knocking on our wall. We heard next doors tv, everytime they went to the toilet, every cough, when they put their cup down on a saucer and when their phone rang we thought it was ours. We were with friends who were in 6210 which was the other side of the building who didn't hear anything so it was obviously our room because it was adjoining and right next to the stairs. So make sure you don't get an adjoining room.
We would return but make sure we got a better room.

Generally service was very efficient and friendly - bar staff, housekeeping. I did find the front office (reception) staff a bit stand offish and aloof. I read a previous review on this and now agree! A more friendly approach to the people who are paying you would go a long way.
