This is one of the best hotels...
This is one of the best hotels in this area.
It is just a few meters away from the beach. It is also within short walking distance to the eating and shopping areas.
The superior room is spacious and clean. The balcony is big enough for us to relax and facing nice hill and pool views.I spent a lot of time reading and relax at the balcony.
You need to pay more if you request for seaview unit.
Breakfasts are wonderful with many choices and the service is excellent.

The hotel is ideally located, just out of the hustle of the main street, rigth on the beach and a thirty second stroll to the main strip. The service was good, excluding the woman that checked us in at reception, she was extremely abrasive and unfriendly. The standard rooms are fairly basic in their design and finishings but are still very spacious. The next room up, superior I think, is much more tastefully decorated. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to stay at if you after a fairly basic room, great setting, good breakfast, location right on the beach at a fairly reasonable price.

We came accross this hotel looking for...
We came accross this hotel looking for somewhere to have dinner on a previous trip. The Food was fantastic, and the seeting was great too, in fact the we decided to eat breakfast there the following morning as the breakfast at our hotel was not so good... We returned to Krabi in June 2006 and Ao Nang Villa was our first choice and we were not disapointed. The rooms are big and spacious, we were lucky enough to have sea facing rooms. As per our last visit the food was fantastic. We are heading back to Krabi in November and the only place we'll be staying is Ao Nang Villa! The only negative is that the check out process is a little slow, so if you have an early check out, make sure you give yourself plenty of time so that can check the minibar...

I have enjoy my 2 nights stay at Aonang Villa.i very satisfied with their service and room are spacious and clean.Althought u need to walk a distance to the main restuarant and pubs area but is alrite.i would recomend this hotel to my friends if they going to krabi.

Aonang Villa didn't disappoint us. We went during mid August 2006, considerably low peak period. This is our first time staying there. Its a great stay though its a short 3 days 2 nights. Nice room of a good size, clean and relaxed. Bathroom's good too. At times you'll get room service delivering fresh fruits to your room without having to ask for it. A good resort experience.

The stay was rather pleasant, the place is clean, the location is pretty good. Being very close to the beach/ shops.
The reception & most staff was warm & friendly throughout our stay. They have pretty generously sized rooms & with a pte balcony. The bathroom was fairly large & spacious too. There were 2 fairly large pools situated at 2 different parts of the hotel.
If you are looking for a place to relax with a nice beach, for me Ao Nang beach was a disappointment as it was very dirty.

Our second visit to Ao Nang Villa and everything lived up to expectations. Delightful hotel, well located, ideal for a relaxing holiday and would certainly recommend to friends.

Excellent location - hotel is right by the beach, with beach access, and close to the longtail boats pickup. And hotel has 2 very nice, uncrowded pools.
We stayed for 3 nights in may...
We stayed for 3 nights in may (low season)- I was a bit worried having read the comments about service on this forum but we had no problems - we arrived very early on the Friday morning and our room was available already. We also got upgraded to a deluxe seaview room at no cost
only complaint was the buffet breakfast which was cold when we got down at 10am - the burners heating the food didn't really work - then again there are so many eateries around there selling cheap breakfast it didn't really matter.
may apparently is in low season cos of the rain but the weather was perfect and the AO nang area very quiet and the hotel 50% cheaper than normal
