Poor breakfast
Morning call that never came.
The hotel is clean and room is spacious. The pool is nice. Room cleaning was done everyday and they bother to make the towel to animals and place it on the bed. Thanks. Service was ok.
On the20thMay, I call the reception at 11pm for an early call at 4.30am on the 21stMay to catch a plane. The call never came. Breakfast was boring.
Happy stay @ Golden Beach
Stayed for 5nights with family. We were lucky to be upgraded to the Pavillion Suites which were really nice & new. Hotel has a relaxed pleasant feel about it. Staff friendly & great with our two small grandkids. Breakfast good. Hotel in great position re shops, restaurants etc. Good kiddies pool with toys to play with. Possibly do with more lounge chairs as usual people claim there chairs early, so a few more around pool would be better. But would definately stay there again & would recommend it.
Unique location but average service...
The main positive point is the fantastic location of the hotel just near the main beach of AoNang. Main customers are elderly couples from Scandinavia. The room was Ok but nothing special for 5100 bahts per day, the breakfast uis really disappointing and not in line with the status and the price of the hotel. Lot of mess arond the hotel (tools for works). The restaurant is average, the plus is the organisation of evening shows. Around the swimmingpool it is almost impossible to get a place because some of the customers put a towel early in the morning to book a seat even if they do not use the seat. This practice should be forbidden. The transfer to the airport is expansive at 900 bahts.

This place was great. Get a pavilion...
This place was great. Get a pavilion suite or an executive suite. These bungalows are very new and exceptional. Great location to main area of Krabi. Also, the resort is pretty much on the water. There is a super cheap massage/spa on the resort premises that is amazing. It looks over the water and the massages are great. Ask for Tin Tin, she's awesome. If you're going to Krabi, STAY HERE!
Golden Beach Resort is is a perfect...
Golden Beach Resort is is a perfect spot and a lovely spacious resort. Our pavillion suite was huge with a walk in shower and separate bath. The room has lots of robe space and a sitting area in a bay window. We had a king bed. The Pavillions are directly opposite the massive pool. The pool was lovely and deep but had a large kids area. Plenty of sunlounges, no swim up bar but a bar at the pool for food and drinks. Tour desk lady was exceptionally good and spoke great english. Restaurant was good for lunch, however we found better places to eat for dinner. Go down to the other end of the front road on the water front ask for YA YA Restaurant - fantastic. There was no noise from long tail boats and only a minute walk to the corner where the shopping starts. You will not be disappointed with this hotel.

We had a chalet in the grounds which was wonderful. Breakfast was excellent and the service at breakfast was also good. We chose not to eat our evening meal here. The massages offed in the hotel grounds were very good and excellent value for money.
Stayed in Deluxe room for 2 days,...
Stayed in Deluxe room for 2 days, the cheapest room but spacious enough, and was satisfied. The reception was kind and helpful. Some specific attitude of the staffs(sitting on knee while checking in, leaving shoes outside when entering our rooms) made us feel 'being served'. Queen-size bed room was assigned at first, but they willingly changed to twin room upon the request. Breakfast was enough for breakfast in variery and quality. A bit farther from the corner in the map than expected, but bearable. Location let peaceful atmosphere. Construction noise from the neighboring Aonang Villa Resort was rarely disturbing. Well-maintained swimming pool was one of my favorite here and humble pool bar was a bit slow to serve but acceptable. Beach towel is available for our-resort activity for free.
The only inconvenience we faced was that our room in the ground floor had a little bit humid air all day, making some stuffy smell(which isn't stinky but not fresh at all). Tourist visiting in rainy season had better remind that they may be in the same condition.
We want to stay here again, especially when we think of its price benefit.
