I had a very pleasant experience. The day prior to arriving, I was in a bad bicycle accident & required sutures in my bottom lip & had multiple abrasions all over & pulled muscles in my back. The staff/ restaurant waitresses went above & beyond to help me. When I arrived for breakfast every morning, they immediately brought out 2 straws (for my juice & water) & chopsticks for me because I was having a very difficult time eating & drinking with my injuries. I spent five nights total, and by the last couple of mornings, they even had my juice & water prepared. They were available for my needs before I even asked. Awesome experience.

Never again! We took one look at the hotel and left. The rooms were small and smelt. The beach towel was an old drying up cloth, big enough to fit a child, just. The pool was dirty. Plastic shower hose in the bathroom, but they did have a big fridge, there again, we did have a deluxe room!!!!!. The whole place looked uncared for. Just about on its last legs

The location of the hotel was very good,as we were taking boat trips every day (its only a short walk from the beach). The staff were very pleasant and really helpful.Breakfasts were enjoyable,the rooms although a little dark,were well maintained.Each room has got a small rustic balcony with the tiled floor,and two deck chairs.We wouldnt hesitate to return.

The centrally located Phra Nang Inn has the most unique architecture in all of Ao Nang. Their staff was incredibly friendly and the daily breakfast served was actually good, with good variety, ranging from the usual eggs (can be prepared as omelette, sunny side up, scrambled, or boiled), ham, bacon, pancakes, and toast (a few types as well), to Asian fares, such as fried noodles, porridge, and such. Although the room looks kind of old, it was spotless, which was an amazing feat since after all, it is a beach resort in which the guests (i.e., us) brought back lots of sand to the room everyday. If there is anything to be faulted with the hotel, it is that their staff don't seem to be very familiar with the region's geography and that the swimming pool at their coconut wing where the superior rooms are located is not well maintained.

ot a bad place to stay for the price. Rooms were clean, but not like a 5-star resort, but then again the price was not like a 5-star resort. Close to the beach and a convenient walk to shopping, restaraunts, etc. My wife kept getting bit by sand fleas or something in the bed, but I didn't have any problems. Since it was low season, some of the bars advertised in the brochure of the hotel that I wished were opened were closed for the season. Staff were helpful, friendly and spoke reasonable English.

This was one of many places we lodged during our month long visit to Thailand. And it was probably the MOST enjoyable. The rooms are sufficiently large and well aired. The staff is curteous and helpful. The food is tremendous. The views are unsurpassed anywhere in the world. Excursion trips are readily available and affordable.
What a treat to listen to the surf from your room at night. I cannot say enough good things about this lodge. I recommend it above all others.
