Not impressed
We are staying in a 3-star hotel in Phuket after staying at the Krabi resort and I think the owner of Krabi Resort must visist Phuket Hotels and see what 3-star means. We are not the least impressed with the food, same same everyday. I won't recommend anybody to this resort.
Lovely resort , beautiful well maintained grounds...
Lovely resort , beautiful well maintained grounds and the best location in Aonang without a doubt , the only resort/hotel actually "on the beach" - the rest are not but they say that they are ! We got upgraded to a premium villa room from a bungalow which was huge - sunken bath in the bathroom and overall superb. Breakfast buffet was adequate with plenty of choice and kept fresh. The price we paid through Asia rooms campared to the walk in price made this one of the best deals we've ever had , internet access at 200thb per hour would be the my only gripe - but the Irish Rover pub up the road has wireless for free and for 200thb you get 2 pints of Heinekin so take a walk there !
We stayed in a sea view bungalow...
We stayed in a sea view bungalow which was perfectly situated with access and view to the nice part of Ao-Nang beach. The resort itself is in a fantastic location as it was quietly away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip of shops/cafes etc but close enough to wander down at your own convenience. The bungalow itself was very large which was great but was a little older in style but clean and comfortable. The breakfast is not worth getting - very ordinary and reluctant service. We had an issue on checkout with a dispute over a couple of beers from the mini-bar. It was not a big deal but the attitude of staff spoiled our experience a little.

1) No soap available for showering.
2) Breakfast is not really impressive, however, eating them by the beach would be the compensation.
I will be staying in again if i were to revisit.

The service is quite good! They answer the questions very patient and gave me the best help. The room size is very large even though it has little old. I was been free upgrade to the level 2 high room from the lowest one!
My friends and I got to stay...
My friends and I got to stay at Krabi Resort at a very good price offered to us by Asiarooms. With that regards, we found it value for money while enjoying a luxurious stay. We unanimously agreed that the service was very very good at the Krabi resort. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, from the receptionist to the lady who passes us bottled water everyday. It isn't the most fancy of resorts I've been to but definitely adequate in its facilities and hospitality. The private beach is a small area with deck chairs on a ledge, so if you're really into an ultimate beach resort getaway, this may not be that perfect for you. We found the pool to be a better place to relax, with nicer deck chairs, landscape, a good bar and an adequate pool for both kids and adults. Mosquitoes and flies are a definite problem throughout the resort, so arm yourself with the relevant repellents and get mosquito coils for your bedroom. We stayed in the main building and not the bungalow units. Eventhough it was further from the water, we were very happy that we got those rooms. It's nearest the reception and exit, in front of the pool, has a nice balcony, and generally the best located building to stay in. The location of the Krabi resort was very good, being near the beach, near the shops, near the open air eating place and wonderful roadside stalls. It is the most convenient hotel in terms of location, located in between Ao Nang and Nopharrat. It is near pharmacys, a money changer and a few good bars and eating places.

This is a beautifully located, 3+ star standard, hotel in pleasant landscaped grounds leading down to the beach. The service provided by the reception staff, and other employees, is excellent. The only drawback is that the food, as judging by breakfast, is not great (take your own coffee!) but this is not a major problem as Krabi boasts numerous eating places, within 10 minutes walk of the hotel, and these provide a variety of oriental and European food at reasonable prices.
