Lovely stay at Pakasai
A nice hotel with good amenities, a typical Thai-style room with spacious bathroom and balcony looking into lush tropical garden, superb location close to everything in Ao Nang but still very quiet, beyond expectations marvellous rooftop swimming pool, delicious breakfast, overall service just super, fantastic value for money.

Overall experience was average. Bed is extremely uncomfortable (rock hard) Thank goodness for cheap massages around the corner coz you'll need them after sleeping on these beds. Breakfast was ordinary, in general overated for the price you pay.

The hotel was very pleasant set in lush vegetation on a hill. The hotel is located ten to fifteen minutes walk from the beach. We used the local taxi to get to and from the beach which was considerably cheap.
The rooms were kept clean each day. The breakfasts were ample, with a buffet of toasts, fresh fruit and scrambled eggs and rice dishes. You could order other dishes from the menu from the kitchen which is included in the price.
The pastries were a bit heavy. The hotel pool was lovely but did not take advantage of the greenery. It was rather stark with a lot of concrete. The plastic chairs and rusty umbrellas surrounding the pool were in much need of an upgrade to a more natural material such as wood. The bar needed an overhaul too.
There was a local supermarket just around the corner from the hotel which was handy.
The service at the hotel was adequate and frendly.
The resort area of Krabi is quiet and tranquil with two beaches. In comparison to Patong...which is noisy with night life and bars. The beaches in Patong were dirty in comparison to Krabi beaches with clear water. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

We found the hotel excellent in general. The breakfast was a good buffet.
Our room was of good size and very clean. It had a door to an adjoing room (presumably of use if a family) and it afforded virtually no noise insulation. As it happened the neighbour was very quiet and so it wasn't a problem but if the neighbour decided to watch TV, it would have been easily audible in our room. The only other negative was that the prices of drinks etc was without tax and service charge included, so the drinks turned out more expensive than you might initially think.
However overall it was an excellent hotel with friendly staff and beautiful surroundings.

We found the stay at the hotelto be very relaxing and friendly, how-ever we paid more using Asia rooms than it would have cost by contacting the hotel direct

The hotel lived up to its status as a resort in terms of its facilities and the excellent landscaped gardens. The room assigned to us was spacious and we were particularly pleased with the large bathroom and separate shower area.Housekeeping staff also did a good job on a daily basis.
On the downside, we found the buffet spread for breakfast uninteresting and below standard for a resort!The staff, however, were courteous and helpful. In addition, it was difficult trying to use the free internet service to check your emails because there was only one PC available. The hotel staff did not ensure that some inconsiderate guests show consideration for others who wanted to use the internet facilities.

Very disappointed with this hotel considering the rate we had for it as it wasn't in peak season (we were there late May).
The staff were very poor and we were unsure whether they were either finding it difficult to understand us correctly or they were totally disinterested in making us feel welcome.
The cleanliness is the room was really not up to scratch and we had food left from room service left outside our hotel door for 2 days and had to call reception to have it removed. I would also not recommend touching the pool walls as they were filthy and left you with a pleasant black mark every time you made contact with it!

We enjoy our staying at Pakasai Resort.Resort is located close to all activities and seafront in very romantic enviroment with a nice pool.The room was beautifull, clean and spacious.All in all,great place to stay especially during the low season.

We got an upgrade and stayed in one of the highest rooms in a small "jungle house" with a nice view over the trees and the beach. We did not mind the steep and relatively long walk from the reception hall at all. The place is so well kept and exceptionally romantic. I will never forget this fantastic stay and will come again next month.
