My family and I booked this hotel on the recommendation shown on the Asiarooms site we were bitterly disappointed. After a long journey arriving at 7.45pm we were looking for comfortable accommodation a shower, something to eat and drink and a good nights sleep. Our first shock was route the taxi had to take to arrive at the hotel, a road barely passable for cars, a drive through what appeared to be piles of stone like a quarry then through a building site to arrive at the resort which was protected from the sights by garden netting. On arrival we found the receptionist spoke very little English and it took a while for her to understand our requests, the girl had no support except a security person on the gate. We asked to the view the accommodation when we found it at the end of an unlit path we were extremely disappointed with the standard and the heavy smell of a room that had been closed up for some time, in addition it should have been a sea view which we paid extra for because there was no garden view, and we were some three rows back from the beach with a limited sea view. We then asked the receptionist if we could get food and drink; we were told there was no food or drink until breakfast the next morning (It was now 8pm ??). We asked to talk to the manager and the only response we got was a change in room to the Sea View room we had booked, but no food or any suggestion of how or where we could get food. The Manager refused to speak to us face to face but insisted on using the phone which had loud disco music in the background. I could go on in more detail but feel it would serve no purpose. Extremely poor service and the appalling attitude of the manager make this the worst Resort in which we have stayed in the region, and we have stayed in a lot and far cheaper. We gave up and asked the Taxi driver to take us to a good hotel where we could get food, drink and a night’s sleep. Until now we have had good service from Asiarooms but this has lowered their standard. I feel the Resort should be removed from the Asiarooms site to ensure they have no association with such a poor standards.
