It has been a bad experience at Srisuksant Resort. With limited facilities, calling it a "resort" would be an overstatement in the first place. I'm sorry but I had a bad experience.
First impression when I entered my Villa room (room V1103): Was quite turned off by the floor tiles; I've always prefered a cosy carpet feeling in any hotel stay. The room didn't make for a romantic setting either with the white lights (shouldnt orange bulbs be better?)
The airconditioning was f bad. Wasn't cold and strong so the room felt v stale. The water pipe also has a major problem. Took a bath halfway and the hot water ran out. Minutes later, the cold water also stopped flowing and there was no more water.
I recommend staying in a newer resort (price not much of a difference) closer to the Ao Nang Night Market. In fact, there are plenty of new hotels so it may not be necessary to book in advance.

What I like about this hotel, is...
What I like about this hotel, is the picture in the web DOES represent what it really looked like. The room are quite nice although basic. They even made the towels into decoration in the bedroom so it's really no frills hotel. They provide refrigerator, air con and have balcony. Bathtub & hot water available. The bed is comfy as well. The TV only have few English channel; but when you go to Krabi who wants to stay in the hotel all day anyway :)
The breakfast is not appealing but available. The room have no carpet (only tiles) and unfortunately they don't provide hotel sandals. Hence it feel dirty always. But they do clean room daily. Watch out is that the hotel has NO elevator at all. They are willing to bring your luggage when you checked in, but you have to go up and down everyday. Just make sure you request for level 1 or 2.
Tips if you stay here, DO NOT book the sea view room. Not value for money. You can also see the sea from garden view room (I stayed at A201). Plus, in front of the sea view, there's this VERY LOUD pub that opens way up to midnight.
Location excellent. About 15-20 mins stroll from Ao Nang. All the tour operators can picked and drop you in this hotel because it's located in main road. I really did my research before I go, and I seriously couldn't find better value for money hotel other than this one :)

Good for budget traveller only. However location is good. 10 minutes from Ao Nang beach, yet sitting quietly by itself.
The shower water supply is too low...
The shower water supply is too low and not hot. Has to take longer time to take a bath. The fridge frezzer full of ice and hardly can put thing inside. The breakfast everyday the same. (bread, egg, hotdog, ham, fried rice)
One of our room we found 5 - 8 bed bug and pass it to the staff. They mentioned that they have fumigated the room and very smelly, ask my friend to change room. Then we decided to check their room first and noticed there is no smell at all, only take away the bedsheet.
On the day we checked out, the resort accused us for stolen their wooden sign board (make up room / Do not disturb). We are so angry what for we stole a signboard and on the first day we check in we did not see the signboard at all. The housekeeping said that she saw it yesterday before we check out it was hang on the door and there is nobody stayed there before us. And want us to pay 400-500baht or checked our luggage. So we ask the manager to talk to us but she said she trusted her staff. The manager mentioned that previously there is a similiar case too. So the manager and my friends went back to the room to check and found nothing. The manager still insisted of checking our luggage. To prove our innocent, we open our luggage to let her to check but she does not check. So i took out all my things to let her see and found nothing. She just apologise only.

i stayed there for four nights,size of the villa was pretty big,bed was quite comfartable .but sometimes dont have hot water when u bath in the morning.lots of mosquito.breakfast was ok for the price u paid.need to bring your own addapter,because they dont have it.pool is small but overall quite cosy!staff was very friendly but some dont really undersatnd english.location is quite ideal,its in between everything.popular beach club"lunar bar"just across the road.

This hotel was perfect for us as it was between hat nopparat & busy aonang, as nopparat is more Thai, so I think this hotel is in a great location, served well by public transport, both taxi & taxi boat. The hotel staff was polite, & can book both tours & transportation if required. The hotels facilities are fairly basic, including 2 swimming pools that were never busy, everything worked & was clean. The breakfast buffet was adequate, had a great time here & if staying in this area again would definately return.

Srisuksant is a simple and minimalist hotel with basic amenities. Recommended if you're on a budget! The staff were pretty helpful and breakfast is not as bad as mentioned in the other reviews! The variety of food is limited but if you're staying for a couple of days, it's good enough! Go for the villa. Value for money and it comes with a bathtub.

The swimming pool has a sudden dip which makes it dangerous to non-swimmers. The older pool which is still in use hasn't been clean for ages.

Very overpriced for what you get. It is not located on the main beach, just a fairly dirty and deserted beach. There is a bar across the road that plays load music till bout 4am that echoes through the room and the breakfast is very poor. Head to the main beach of ao nang as there are much better priced hotels that have better locations and facilities. Would not stay here again.
