Needs a make-over
The bungalows were ok, but need renovation. It all looked a bit grubby. The bathroom was the worst bit, we frequently saw cockroaches and there were lots of mosquitoes in there. The breakfast was measly. I wouldn't recommend this place.

not a bad place to stay but we expected a little more from the price. however, railay is very small and you can walk anywhere.

The Hotel is situated at Railey East...
The Hotel is situated at Railey East Beach - not very nice BUT - it is a short walk (5 min) from stunning beach - Railay West! We stayed at Garden View Room. Nice pool and nice breakfast buffet. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free welcome drink and fresh fruit platter. On our arrival, the room was decorated with Thai orchid. Clean bathroom but without tiles on the walls. Comfortable bed and nice balcony, but take only upstairs rooms - brighter and nicer views. Very recommended, good value with reasonable price. Would stay again :)

The Hotel is located not on the...
The Hotel is located not on the famous Railay Beach but on the other side of the bay - a quite muddz beach - if you can call it beach - with mangroves and a lot of plastic rubbsih. Having said that - it is only a few minutes walk to the other nicer beaches. But this way is poor maintained and you have to pass a really bad smelling garbage dump area with lots of rats. The rooms itself are quite ok but you can tell that this resort was not really build with love but to make quick money. The greens and garden areas are not maintained or not even finished, they do not provide soap - not to speak of something like a hair dryer . The berakfast was also very basic - enough though to survive but made with the least effort. The staff could have been more helpful when it comes to reccomendations about activities in this area. In total - if you want to stay in Railay - definately try a resort on the nice sany beaches at Railay west.If you have to staz at Anavee Resort as everything else was booked out out - bring a towel, soap and a hair dryer if needed.
