Room was clean and comfortable, just what we were looking for. Breakfast was a good and simple fare. Location of hotel is about 10-15 mins walk to the beach with lots of shops in between. Value for money :)

we had no problems at all at this hotel. a bit of a walk downhill to the beach but a taxi only cost 20-40 baht for the lazier people.very helpful staff and mr sun the manager introduced himself to us, having already contacted me by email prior to arriving.

Great Place!
Great location if you want to be away from the busier streets.Love the room with the view of the cliff & the jacuzzi on the balcony.It's like a lil service apartment minus the kitchen.Quiet & good amenities.Great restaurant with 2 thumbs up value for money across the street for local thai food called "Number 1 thai restaurant"..10-15mins walk away from the beach ( where the shops are located ) . 5mins away from 7-11,atm's just across the street. Not so great breakfast ( very basic ) 2eggs,a slice of bacon, a slice of ham.Coffee,tea,toast & cereal.Staff try to help you as much as they can which is very good.Would recommend hire a motorbike if you want to get around as taxi's ( tuk tuk ) can be rather costly ( and hard to get ) if you want a ride into the beach area.around 40baht per pax.Bike rentals are 200baht per day.and you would have a freedom to go wherever you like :) . Rooms are very clean & spacious...bathroom is slightly bigger than bedroom which is nice!
If you are looking for a getaway from noise & want peace n quiet..this is where you should be! As hotels along the main road is noisy due to the pubs & restaurants.Hotel offers tours etc which picks u up from the hotel ( plus point ). Truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel.Will definitely go back to Haleeva if we are visiting Krabi again.Looking forward to our next trip!

Fantastic service
My husband and my cousins stayed at Haleeva for a total of 4 nights. We expected a more beautiful hotel from d pictures online, but d hotel wasnt as beautiful as thought, and d cliffs views weren't as pretty as we expected. (we have previously stayed in another hotel with much more beautiful rooms and window views) Nonetheless, d servics of d staffs made up for everything! They were extremely helpful and friendly; smiles were on their faces all d time =) Room service was generally good, although d floor felt rather oily/sticky after mopping. But sheets were clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was okay. But hey, this was budget accommodation, and d service was definitely non- budget. Note: bike rental at d hotel is really cheap- 150 baht for 24 hrs. And d noodles at store number 4, further down d street outside d hotel is a muz try( d store only open from late afternoons though)

Not advisable for elderly
This hotel has no lift,we booked for a superior room and everyday need to walk all the way up to 4th floor. The floor in bathroom are very slippery. My overall stay was great. The cleanliness of this hotel is superb. Sun,the owner,Ree & Oil are very helpful.

This is my second time staying at Haleeva Sunshine. Prefer to stay in the rooms facing the cliff view. Rooms facing the road can be quite noisy, otherwise it's nice.

The resort was location in a very busy street, with lots of cheap massage & thai food. The owner Sun was very friendly. He was able to suggest cheap & good thai food & recommend suitable local tours. I'll definitely stay @ Haleeva again.

It's my first time in Krabi( Ao Nang) so i'm absolutely clueless regarding accommodations. Then i turned to AsiaRooms.com for help. I came across Haleeva Sunshine eventually, and read through the reviews thoroughly. There were no negative comments that i came across, and everyone was talking bout the cleanliness and friendliness of the staffs, in particular, Sun, the manager/owner i suppose. Well the reviews are as true as it can get, and i did not end up disappointed, not a bit! I'll have to mention some other staffs, Mac, Dew and Oil who were so warm ever since day one. Basically, every single one of the staffs are ever-so-friendly! They'd answer your questions, provide information and smile throughout! Never had i received such hospitality from any other hotel staffs around the world. Truely top-class customer service. Beautiful and clean rooms. Prompt room-keeping. Convenient location. Affordable rates. What more can you ask for? I'll definitely return to this particular hotel on my next Krabi trip pretty soon. Highly recommended. A big Thank You to Sun and all the staffs of Haleeva Sunshine. Awesome experience. =)

Surprisingly Good.
what can i say about this nice little hotel? the service was excellent by the staff and of course, the owner, Mr. Sun. my girlfriend and i was pleasantly surprised when he offered to take us to lunch at a nearby eating place near the hotel. we had a nice chat during lunch. the location of the hotel, in my opinion, was the furthest limit that i would choose. any further from the beach and i would've given it a miss. it's a good 15-20 minutes to the beach. people with weaker legs should also consider staying at one of the lower levels as the climb up the stairs to the fourth floor can be rather grueling after a long day out. the room is very big and spacious with a fantastic view of the cliff at the back of the hotel. however, the side facing the cliffs comes with a little price. and that's mosquitos. would advice insect repellent for that and after a few sprays here and there, it didn't give us much problem. all in all, i would definately return to stay again given it's value for money and how comfortable all the staff at the hotel make you feel. give it a try, you just might like it.
