Don't judge a book by its cover
At first when we arrived and as it was my first time I was at first surprised that the sign board wasn't so pleasant. But as soon as I came down from the taxi and looked at the lobby and greeted by warm staffs from the hotel and was shown to the room, I was impressed with the spacious room and beautiful area especially with the bathtub and balcony. For those who are light travelers, they provide shampoo and bath cleanser but take note no toothpaste. If you're going snorkeling probably stopping by at the 7 eleven to grab a conditioner. Back to the hotel, it was very lovely and clean however the floor is very very slippery with the marble flooring so maybe they should provide room slippers. Be careful when the toilet is wet too. Other than that it is very wonderful. I'd definitely stay there again if I'm going Krabi. However breakfast is not included so maybe can drop by 7 eleven in the evenings after dinner to buy some croissant and juice for breakfast or pay for their breakfast. Lovely place. Staff at Aonang Goodwill was very friendly and helpful, they helped us to arrange airport transfer,day trips, motor renting...just name it ! room was spacious and clean, hotel was walking distance to restaurents, beach and longtail boats too . I will definitely return to stay at Aonang Goodwill if I visit Krabi again, thanks for the pleasant stay !
Brilliant hotel
We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful, the manager was so accomodating too.
There is loads of information available about all sorts of activities to do locally plus a brilliant guest information book in each room plus a book about Thai fruit!! The manager himself even brought us a bowl of fruit to our room to try.
The location of the hotel is not right in the centre of Ao Nang but is within easy walking distance. We rented a scooter so it wasn't a problem for us.
Breakfast was good and the system for ordering was a v good idea.
Our room was lovely and had the most comfortable bed and the best AC we had during our whole stay in Thailand.
Next door is a great massage place - good at haircuts too

Execellent choice
I initially booked to stay at the Aonang Goodwill for 3 nights, but stayed for 5 nights in total as i was so happy with the hotel. I don't think i have ever stayed anywhere that was such good value for money - my room was spotless, as was the rest of the hotel, my bed was massive, the furniture was mostly wooden and the shower was lovely. The room offered everything you may need, including a safe, two bottles of free water a day and extra snacks and drinks to purchase (at a normal price) from your fridge, wifi was also generally very good. I chose to not get breakfast included as sometimes it is not worth the added cost, but i ate breakfast at the hotel every day anyway, it was massive, had proper bacon, you could choose your preferences and it filled me up! Although the hotel was about a 10-15 minute walk from the beach itself, it is a relatively hassle free walk (not like on the main strip) and you get the benefit of knowing about the cheaper local cafes and restaurants on the stretch, as well as street vendors. I also booked a tour to Koh Phi Phi and onward bus through the hotel and they made it a very simple process and i felt i paid the proper price from the start. I have already recommended the hotel and will continue to do so. Thank you
Friendly, clean & great price
This hotel was great value for our money. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the downstairs public area had a friendly homely feel to it. The room was clean and airy and had lots of space. The bathroom had a bath-tub with shower which was a nice extra for a hotel in this price range. It does not have an elevator and is about a 10-15 min walk to the beach so if you are a little lazy you might not enjoy that. It's location is a bit away from the hustle and bustle but this does mean you get a nice quiet and peaceful nights rest. And if you hire a motorcycle it is a great base to go exploring Ao Nang from. If we are ever in Krabi again we will definitely stay here again.
Excellent hotel!
I stayed in the hotel in the low season, from 30th of August til 5 th of September. Everything is so great about the hotel. The service, the quality of the rooms, and the price among everything. In the service I include: the outstanding hospitability, the many things you can rent for free: beach mat, bicykle, umbrella, and beach towel for a small fee. They can keep your baggage for a few hours and let you take a shower for free, after you check out. The only disadvantage is that the hotel is bit far from the beach (15 min. walk), but you can catch a tuk-tuk for 30-40 bahts each´way or you can rent a bike from the hotel - for free. The hotel, as well as many travel agencies in Ao nang, offer cheap local tours to the local islands. As cheap as 400-1000bahts per tour. You must visit Phi-Phi, it's marvelous!!!

Best accommodation ever
we were very surprised by our stay in Aonang Goodwill. We booked because of the reviews. We can not recommend this hotel enough. Mr. Sun the owner and his staff could not do enough for us. No matter what we wanted or needed Mr. Sun was there to help provide it. The quality and cleanliness of the rooms was as good as, if not better than a 4 star hotel. We originally booked for 3 nights. Because we were so happy and comfortable we booked another 2 nights. We went to Phi Phi island for 2 nights and decided when we returned we would stay another 5 nights and do our trips from there. The Goodwill was able to accommodate us and we settled into the rest of our trip in Aonang. We had such a good trip we were very sad leaving and saying goodbye. We want to recommend this hotel without any hesitation.

Room was very clean.Bathroom and toilet clean and in excellent condition.I am very pleased with this hotel. In fact I extended my stay for another day.
Best budget accomodation
We had a great time at this hotel. The room was very clean, and the staff very friendly. There is also a very good restaurant almost facing the hotel, whose dishes cost third the price of those close to the beach. I recommend this hotel to anybody going to Krabi.
