Execellent choice
I initially booked to stay at the Aonang Goodwill for 3 nights, but stayed for 5 nights in total as i was so happy with the hotel. I don't think i have ever stayed anywhere that was such good value for money - my room was spotless, as was the rest of the hotel, my bed was massive, the furniture was mostly wooden and the shower was lovely. The room offered everything you may need, including a safe, two bottles of free water a day and extra snacks and drinks to purchase (at a normal price) from your fridge, wifi was also generally very good. I chose to not get breakfast included as sometimes it is not worth the added cost, but i ate breakfast at the hotel every day anyway, it was massive, had proper bacon, you could choose your preferences and it filled me up! Although the hotel was about a 10-15 minute walk from the beach itself, it is a relatively hassle free walk (not like on the main strip) and you get the benefit of knowing about the cheaper local cafes and restaurants on the stretch, as well as street vendors. I also booked a tour to Koh Phi Phi and onward bus through the hotel and they made it a very simple process and i felt i paid the proper price from the start.
