Great place to stay
Olny had 3 nights but wish it had been more. the two ladies that ran it (mother and daughter I think) couldn't do enough for us. let us in our room early on arrival and gave us free breakfast for our stay.
Our room was large it had a tv, video player, large fridge, kettle, hair dryer, a safty deposit box, 2 sets of table and chairs (1 in the room and 1 on the balcany) It had a nice big clean bathroom and our room was cleaned everyday.
Our room was in the back so no niose.
I would give Blue house 9 out of 10, 10 out of 10 if the bedswere not so hard

Lovely Hotel with wonderful staff.
We originally booked this hotel for 1 night and ended up staying 5.
The rooms are big and clean with comfy beds and en suite with warm shower.
The mother and daughter that run the place could not be nicer, nothing is too much trouble for them and you always get a massive smile whenever they see you.
The hotel is well placed at the top of the main street in Ao Nang and therefore only a short walk from the beach, travel agents, shops, restaurants etc (Poppy's across the road was one of the best restaurants we ate in, in thailand).
We would defintely recommend this hotel to others and would not think twice about returning if we ever go back to Krabi in the future.

Affordable, friendly and trustworthy !
Friendly hotel staffs made the trip enjoyable ! They are very reliable with sufficient informations whenever we asked of and always ready to help us with anything we can ever need. A guest room with very nicely and neatly cleaned room, room can be improved though due to main door without peep holes or chain lock. Warm water wasn't available in the room too although it isn't really of a much concern. It is also a short walk to convenient stores, etc. Mac, Starbucks, restaurants and also the the beach! Highly recommended for simple-minded travellers, be it family, friends or couples !
Great value, good location.
The location was good, as soon as you walk out there are shops, restaurants and bars so it is an interesting walk to the sea front (about 15mins.) which was the departure point for the long tail boats to other beaches and islands. The room was big and clean and good value. We only had breakfast there as there are many seafood restaurants nearby.
Big Toilets, Friendly Staff, Good Breakfast. Simple and extremely affordable. Further away from the main strip but also means that its quieter.
Great experience
We only stayed at the Blue House for 2 nights but it was a very pleasant experience. The have wi fi that works, so thats nice (I noticed a lot of the hotels say they have free wi fi, but they really don't). And Blue House was only a short distance from the beach, like a 5 minute walk. It is surrounded by a lot of restaurants and bars.

We had a great time staying at the Blue Guest guesthouse. Rooms are spacious and spotless,fresh linen daily and the family are extremely friendly and hospitable. They leave you to your own devices(which is great as we have experienced pushy guesthouses where owners try to sell you tours but not here) but are there if you require assistance,even for small things such as umbrellas. We had originally booked for 2 nights and ended up staying a further 6 nights. They are within walking distance from everything. If we return to Ao Nang would stay here again and will recommend to friends. Could not have asked for more and breakfast is very good!!!Family run establishment, Many thanks for a pleasant stay!!!

Loved the Blue House, lovely family run guesthouse rooms tastefully done and very clean! Definately more value for money than alot of hotels we looked at in Thailand! Food very good, Italian! Best Lasagne ever!10 minute stroll to the beach with plenty of bars,restaurants,and shops. we hired motorbike,cheap, not far from other nicer beaches! If in Ao Nang would recommend The Blue House.
