Free tuk-tuk-service is really necessary since the resort is located quite far from the Ao Nang beach.

Friendly staff/great room.
The best things about this hotel are the friendy staff and great rooms. The location is a little too far to walk to the beach and there is nothing of interest between the hotel and the beach. The pool was also small and not too clean so we didn't use it. The rooms are bungalows set in a beautiful tropic garden. We enjoyed our stay there and used their free tuk tuk to go out and hired tuk tuks for 30 or 40 baht per person to return.
Sunda Resort Krabi
I really enjoyed my stay at the resort.I like the environment and my children were happy. My son rented a motobike and went arround the village.I would like to recommend to others who are looking for original country site resort.
Pluses: Clean rooms, quiet, tuk-tuk drivers to town very accomodating, lower price than in town or at the beach, morning staff helped out with tours.
Minuses: Evening staff not very accomodating... no extra pillows, no joining rooms that were requested and no late check out, even 15 minutes. Breakfast was below average. No liquor allowed in the restaraunt. Room smelled like smoke.

Nice Resort But Poor Breakfast
Nice Staying in Sunda, friendly staffs, quite envoirnment, little bit far away from Ao Nang Beach but not a problem with self driving. Only the breakfast is disaster...foods not maintain warm enough, fried eggs pre-cooked, no variety. If you like to stay in a place like a jungle, this is not bad for you.

tip: have a local calling card so that you can call for the free transport.

Great value for money
Staff at Sunda are really friendly. Replies to email enquiries are prompt and they will help with anything we put up to them, be it directions, free tuk-tuk service to the beach and also about tour advice.
Food at the restaurant is halal, rooms are clean with cable tv and free bottled water everyday. Fresh change of towels everyday too. The theme works really well, lots of greenery and plants. And rooms are seperate buildings with own balcony.
Very near to Nopparatthara Beach and Ao Nang Beach (by tuk2) which are really beautiful beaches. Pool has a jacuzzi and kiddy pool. Family friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Location is not so convenient as it is off the main road. Even though hotel provides free ride to the main st. with shopping and restaurants we felt the need to rent a Moped so we can go in and out freely any time we want. Close to the boxing stadium within walking distance. Boxing every Friday night at 9pm. Real competive fights but price is a liitle high at 800bht. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. If you don't mind renting a car or moped this hotel is perfect.

Clean, quiet and friendly staff. A little inconvenient though as it is away from the beaches even though tuk tuk transport is porvided. Breakfast should have more varieties as it can boring after the same old thing after 5 days. Overall good value for money.
I stayed with my 10 yr old...
I stayed with my 10 yr old son in room P11. Staff were friendly and helpful which was good and we liked the fact it was in a quiet location. Breakfast was perfectly ok and I loved the omlette. Free tuk-tuk to and from Ao Nang made this ideal for us however it might be a problem for the less able bodied. Asia Rooms had not passed on our request for single beds however the hotel dealt withy this quickly. Room was super clean. Some guests complained about mosquitos being a problem in the non-pool rooms but we never had any problems at all in our pool room. I would definately stay there again.
