As you have now asked me twice to send in my comments please note below:
1. The hotel was under a complete rehabilitation
program. Although this did not affect the overall
operation, surely there should have been some kind
of adjsument made to the roomrate.Lobby bar closed
and shabby looking old lobby funiture.
2. Receptionist very good and overall staff very
comptetent.
3. However it should be pointed out to guest leaving
for the bus terminal that if they wish to go by
they must request one at least 20 minutes before
checking out. I almost missed by bus to Bangkok and
had to avail myself of a very windy tuktuk. Good it
did not rain.
4. Chinese restaurant excellent, however a little over
prized for Korat.
5. Coffee shop breakfast buffet OK but no bacon and
overall taste of omelets, eggs not the best.
6. Lunch buffet very good and good value for money
(179Bth)
7. Rooms clean and maid service adequate.
8. Very poor lighting in bathroom.
9. Very poor selection of foreign speaking TV channels
In this day and age of satellite reception it
should be possible to have a better choice of
programs.
10.Oldfashioned safe in room requiring to pick up a
seperate lock at the reception. Should be a
standard question when checking in,so that you do
not have to go back downstairs after you find out.
11.No pool attendant and white lounge chairs and
tables not so clean, some with bird deposits all
over.
12.Once you are by the pool in bathing attire you
must return to recveption to ask for towels.
13.Water clean but surface should be cleaned with a
net in the morning. Overflow not good enough.
14.Night spot Events apparently not operating.
15.Yogi massage club very efficient, but horrible
scratched and unclean looking bathtubs.
16.Location excellent and overall stay pleasant.
17.Ommission to notice that a charge was missing upon
checking out, I called sma afternoon to inform
reception. I asked them to cll me back. They never
did.
I informed the Duist Thani BKK sales manager of the
problem and finally received an email from Royal
Princess
18.I trust that the Dusit Style and operational skills
will slowly prevail.
