I moved from a different hotel to the Princess because the other place refused to repair a hot water problem. So, the first morning I go to the shower and there is only a trickle of lukewarm water and I ended up taking a cold shower. I complained to the desk, who said the would fix it. Upon return in the evening, it was the same, despite the engineer insisting that he had fixed it. I politely insisted on a different room and they complied immediately, and were very apologetic. But the fixtures in the bathrooms are showing lots of wear.
Another gripe is the relatively expensive Internet access. It's free with a Deluxe room, but 200 baht per hour otherwise.
Last complaint is that the price did not include breakfast.
On the good side, the bed was comfortable, the A/C worked properly and didn't blow directly on the bed. The staff was very attentive.
All in all, a so-so value for money.
