Was really impressed with Khao Yai immediately....
Was really impressed with Khao Yai immediately. Had booked a superior room but because of the lack of customers, was upgraded to a Suite, probabby nicest hotel room I.ve ever stayed in!
Restaurant was ok
Only big downer was that I had originally booked 3 nites, but do to a change of plans, I could only stay one night. They stated that this was "a cancellation" less than 7 days so I had to pay for 3 nites,Because of asiarooms policy! I stated that I hadn't booked 7 days ahead so that was impossible! Also, I didn't cancel, I just stayed 2 nites less than planned!
I ended up paying for one extra nite.
Was this due to my misreading Asia Rooms policy or the Khao Yai?
The staff at Khao Yai Garden lodge...
The staff at Khao Yai Garden lodge are very friendly.The food is ok. The rooms are also ok, but we found the beds extremely hard and would recomend other mattresses.
The lodge is located along the highway so you have to make arrangemnts for any place you want to go, unless you bring your own car. The tour to the National Park was good, with a well informed and professional guide. Overall good value.
The real value of this hotel are...
The real value of this hotel are the tours they organize in the park: the guides are very nice and professional. The swimming pool is nice too. A part from this, the budget rooms are a bit old and need refurbishing. The food at the restaurant is "just ok".
