We had a very pleasant stay at...
We had a very pleasant stay at Talkoo toward the end of 2007. Some of the bungalows were still under constuction then, but they took care to minimise the disturbance. Na Dan beach is beautiful and almost deserted much of the time. The staff at Talkoo were always eager to please. Although the only person with a reliable level of English was the owner, Ma'am, it never seemed to matter. The bungalows are all spotlessly clean and charming, with wooden furniture and features (bed head, sinks, etc) abounding. The food, whilst a little more expensive than other local options, was always very good. Please be aware that Talkoo is fairly isolated. Having your own transport or hiring a motorbike is a good idea. Love the gigantic showerheads!! This is extreme luxury for the native of a drought stricken country like me! Would return again in a minute.
