Ekman Garden Resort is simply wonderful for...
Ekman Garden Resort is simply wonderful for anyone who loves beauty, both in nature and in architecture. The flowers, butterflies, fish and birds seem to excel at showing off. Perfectly designed houses range along a lovely canal with bridges and a few steps from the restaurant where Anna and her staff surprise you with one delicious meal after the other. The rooms are beautiful and most comfortable, whether you choose the groundfloor with your own patio or a room on second floor with balcony. Bathing is a must in this climate. Besides the garden pool there is the beach at walking distance ? or by any vehicle at your service. We just love the warm, salt sea-water which makes heaps of good for our psoriasis. The hosts Staffan and Anna are eager to help if you want to make excursions in the neighbourhood. Or just enjoy a chat over a drink in the night with cikadas and geckos interacting. Thank you Anna and Staffan. We will be back. Helena and Carl-Erik Brohn

What a place! Already on the plane...
What a place! Already on the plane back to Sweden I thought about everything I had experienced during my visit to Ekman Garden in Sichon. I know I would love to go back. Anna and Staffan, your kind and warm welcome made me feel at home from the very beginning. Ekman Garden opens up like an oasis with its wonderful garden full of orchids in bloom and small waterchannels full of fish. This place is totally free from stress and is situated in an area with very few tourists. Beautiful livings and divine food, a feast for the eye. Anna does not just cook, she creates her dinners with love, fantasy and strong spices. Here you will experience the unexpected. For instance I will never forget the episode with the coconuts and the monkey. The trips to the beach, Friday Market in Sichon, the visit to the collective of artists making batik, the Lotus Lake, the Buddha temple and many other things. Nothing is impossible for this wonderful host and hostess! I will rekommend this paradise to everyone. Elisabeth in Uppsala

We stayed at Ekman Garden three times...
We stayed at Ekman Garden three times (5 + 3 + 2 days) under our two months long staying in Thailand.. We booked the first five days on a recommendation at the internet and we definitely not regret. Then we returned for three days and celebreted the NEW YEAR and finally we stayed for two days to relax and pick up our luggage before the journey home to Sweden. We found the resort very charming and hospitable. The atmosephere is very homely and quiet and that made us feel more like familymembers than customers. The hosts, Anna and Staffan with family and staff are very friendly and take an active interest in their guests. The rooms are high qualitative and tastefully decorated and furnished. We really enjoyed the rooms and the beautiful surroundings. And the food ? delicious. Anna is an excellent cook and she surpriced us every evening with different meals, beautiful- delicious and healthy. Outside the resort, at the Thailand countryside, you don´t meet tourists, but thai people with big smiles and we find it very charming. We recommend Ekman Garden resort and we love to come back. Thank you Anna, Staffan, Pee-Pee and Leo. Sixten o Barbro Kieri from Luleå

Ekman Garden Resort is not just a...
Ekman Garden Resort is not just a hotel it´s more like having a second home. With Staffan and Anna looking after you, their generous hospitality will make you longing for a longer stay than planned. The rooms and the surroundings are beatiful and just outside the resort there is no tourism and genuine thai-life in countryside becomes reality. Visiting nearby cities like Sichon and Nakhon Si Thammarat are highly recommended. The beach which are quite close, have a spectacular bridge which are made of bamboo. We would like to say thank you to Anna, Staffan, Pee Pee, Leo and the rest of the staff for making us a part of the family. Highly Recommended. We are looking forward to our next stay at your resort from Mats, Petra, Ludwig and Amanda.

Ekman Garden Resort is a quiet little...
Ekman Garden Resort is a quiet little family driven resort set in beautiful gardens that allow visitors to enjoy Thailand away from the main tourist tracks and to relax from the hectic of life. If you are looking for big action and entertainment this is not the place to be. The region allows you to experience real Thai rural life in their next neighbourhood as well as urban life in the well maintained nearby cities (which might be surprising on how modern and advanced Thailand is). The resort offers excellent and very clean rooms and food is made by using local fresh products. The owners and staff give the guests much more personal attention than one normally finds in a resort and it feels genuine and very nice. Only one negative, if you travel in this region during the non dry season make sure to have sufficient high quality insect repellents with you. Summarized, Ekman Garden Resort is an excellent stay for non commercial but quality orientated travellers for a couple of days.

Ekman Garden Resort are not like a...
Ekman Garden Resort are not like a hotel or resort, it?s more to come home. I have travel around in Thailand for the last 25 years and was on my way from Narathiwat to Khanom, but found Ekman garden on the internet and NEVER regret. I have stayed at the Golden Beach at Khanom some times before, but this ARE just the place for relaxing with wonderful staff and the owner Anna and Staffan. I was meet at the train station in Nakhon by Anna and Staffan, its only 45 min from the resort. The rooms are very nice, clean; I have one at the first floor with a nice balconie, where I in the evening enjoy reading books (no TV on rooms?NICE) and making my own coffee. The resort has a fine garden with flowers, fish dam and a big pool with jacuzzi, I like that. Anna was in charge for the food, you can not fine a better restaurant in Bangkok, all fresh and local products, special for me who love Thai food, well done Anna. As I have been in the area before, I went out on a bike to discover the beautiful mountains and meet a lot of nice local people, the place are not overcrowded with tourists, with I prefer, that?s they way to see and discover the real Thailand. It was very sad to check out; I will call it to levee my family, I have never before been at a Hotel or Resort with that feeling before, but they give me all what I was looking for, a nice place with quietness and lovely surroundings. With great respect and love to Leo, Pee Pee, Anna and Staffan, I will soon bee back. I can recommend this place strong.

Ekman Garden Resort is approximatlely 60 kilometres...
Ekman Garden Resort is approximatlely 60 kilometres from Nakorn Si Thammarat in Sichon. A quiet little haven, set in beautiful gardens that allows visitors to unwind from the stresses of life. If you are looking for the glitz and seedier side of life found in the more advertised tourist centres in Thailand then do not come to Ekman Gardens. The rooms have been uniqely designed by Staffan and Anna and are all on one level with no stairs, which was much appreciated by my wife and I. THE FOOD IS MAGNIFICENT.Using fresh local produce Anna and her team produced some of the best tasting and creative presentations that we have experience anywhere in the world, you must try the chicken coconut soup. We would like to say thank you to Anna, Staffan, Pee Pee and Leo for making us a part of the family. In summary a great holiday stay that is excelent value for money in a safe, clean and frendliy place. Highly Recommended.

Ekman Garden Resort, Nakorn Si Thammarat Ekman guards the nice and friendly Paradies on ground connection. As much-many Thailand friends and I already many plants saw my wife. The Ekman Paradies was for us the most beautiful time which we in Thailand to experience was allowed. Apart of hecticness and stress. light frames friendly Bungalows from a flower sea, brook runs with beautiful fish, butterflies and birds. Nature purely. The maintained pool forms the heart of the plant. The love-worth and very friendly owners Staffan and Anna accepted us as to your family. Anna is a point cook. With your extrvaganten creations surprised you us each evening. Simply delicious! The parting fell us very heavily and we to the place of the recovery will surely return. Ekman Garden Resort, Nakorn Si Thammarat As a...
Ekman Garden Resort, Nakorn Si Thammarat As a common traveller, I found the resort very charming and hospitable. It was my 8th visit to Thailand and the hosts Staffan and Anna wellcommed me as a part of the family. The food was even better than the normal thai style. It was in a way a crossover between Thailand and Europe. Some of the thai exentric idees was gone and as I do not have a metallbin inside, I am greatful to Anna, as she took me gently into the kitchen. Tastes were fantastic. In Micheline terms: well worth a detour. As for the suroundings I did not really need to leave, but the visit to the nearby beach was pleasant and was free of all normal salespersons. And the visit to the nearby shirtshop made it possible to bring a really personal gift home to my daughter. I will shurely visit again allthough I do not know if it will be 2007 or 2008.
