As a travel consultant, I could not...
As a travel consultant, I could not help wondering how much longer this hotel will survive. public areas are in need of instant refurbishment, lights are broken and the outside of the building needs immediate work. They appear to be keeping a few of the rooms in reasonable condition. Swimming pool needs a lot of cleaning. Breakfast very average. Trying to please, but owners need to invest and come up fresh ideas to attract new business. Currently not good value for money. There were no other guests on our first night there. Richard Walker. Nice hotel, in a beautiful part of...
Nice hotel, in a beautiful part of Thailand. A huge pool which most (if not all) rooms have a balcony overlooking. Situated just outside the city centre (on the road from Phrae). Basic breakfast with the standard offerings.

City Park is a beautifully laid-out facility...
City Park is a beautifully laid-out facility with three-storey buildings in Northern Thai style placed around a nice swimming pool. Since I visited during the off-season, it was very quiet and the hotels seemed to be operating with a minimum of staff. They were courteous, but I had to carry my bags to the room myself. The room was nice, clean, and my request for a non-smoking room could be accommodated. All in-room facilities worked without a hitch, including local and international satellite TV. Unfortunately, the hotel is located next to a busy road which is currently under construction, but it is convenient to get in and our for guests who travel by car. Breakfast (buffet)which was included in the price, was OK but nor outstanding. I did not use their restaurant for other meals and can therefore not comment.

best hotel in Nan. 2 km out...
best hotel in Nan. 2 km out of Nan centre, but no problem with little blue-white-5 baht-public bus, every 10 minutes or so, stopping in front of the City Park hotel. clean, large rooms; good airco; english spoken; large clean pool.
