There were blackouts for the 2 nights...
There were blackouts for the 2 nights we stayed there. 2 blackouts on the first night, middle of the night, which woke me up several times to open windows and shut windows when the electricity came back and forth. The Quarter should perhaps have backup power supply for the vicinity since it is a boutique hotel.
However, must compliment their facilities - free internet and interesting range of books in their library, free bicycles for use and movies to unwind. Friendly staff.

Nice resort, but althouhg quite new already fraying a bit around the edges.
The room was very spacious, with lots of room in wardrobes and cupboards. Very comfortable bed with mosquito-net. Open-air bathroom, which was a bit cold in the morning. Wonderful amenities in the bathroom and nice fluffy towels.
Outside on the balcony is a big daybed, which is also nice for having a night-cup, wrapped in a thick blanket (provided by the hotel).
Breakfast was ok, but not much choice (but then there were only a dozen guests at the time we were staying)

Great value if you are not on a tight budget.
Room a bit small but the large bathroom and balcony make up for it.
Good service and friendly staff.
A bit far out of town but within walking distance.
Plenty of parking if you have a car.
No natural views but the pool and grounds are beautiful and well kept.
Poor red wine selection in the restaurant.
The Quarters is one of the higher...
The Quarters is one of the higher end hotel in Pai Province. The place is relatively new and the room are nicely decorated. Good place for couples for a romantic date. The staffs are friendly and kind too. The only down side is that the location is just behind Pai's only hospital and it may gives you the creeps at night. :)

Hotel very good but both the foreign guests including ourselves were robbed on the first night despite security. Nice place to stay but service second rate and breakfasts always cold
A very pleasant surprise. You feel...
A very pleasant surprise. You feel as though you are isolated from the city proper with the beautifully manicured grounds, pool, restaurant, and spa facilities. But you are less than 5 minute stroll to the "downtown" Pai and Walking Street with shops, restaurants, bars and local entertainment. Close proximity to tour the local sites of nature; numerous waterfalls, Pai Canyon a must see. One of our most enjoyable visits in Thailand. Check into flying into Pai directly from Chiang Mai rather than flying into Mae Hong Son which then requires a 2-3 hour ride on the road with hundreds of curves that will make the most experienced traveler slightly car sick.

This hotel provides insuficient value for money. I expected for the price a nice and romantic place but the result is far below. Good location in Pai. Quite pleasant premices (bungalows with 4 rooms, open-air restaurant, swimming pool). Appreciate also free bicycles. But disppointment inside the room: the floor and walls are like not finished, in a raw status from construction. Service quality not sufficient: on arrival, can notice water bottles from previous customers empty and not changed. Moreover: at about midnight very big noise in the apartment upstairs from walking and drawing along furniture on the floor. In the early morning: similar big noise I then discover made by a squadron of staffs to replace everything. The staffs have apparently no idea of the consideration they should have for the customers quietness.

The Quarter has the best service I have ever experienced at this type of hotel! EVERYONE is very kind, gracious and willing to help. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!
