Spa and Life

I am first and foremost totally in love with Kukkai! She made my experience something I have never ever thought was possible and she touched my heart so deeply, I will forever remember Garden Cliff resort. The staff was outstanding, professional and very beautiful indeed. I ended up staying longer then I had planned, but will book in three months and stay a few weeks. I feel that the reception did not...

I feel that the reception did not get their most updated informations on their customers.Example, they think that my booking did not entitle any free breakfast but my booking said so. End up they double check and realised is their mistake so i guess is just miscommunication, so the the next morn i went to the restuarant and i was told that im not entitled with the breakfast again. Secondly, they are not informed that i alrdy make a payment beforehand for my booking when i first check in. But overall, a place for tourist to chill out for a day, fairly good scenery.

Spent a couple of days there back...

Spent a couple of days there back in February, right after Chinese New Year. The hotel used to be part of a well stablished international chain, now under a different name and management. As the hotel was a former member of an international stardard hotel chain, the facilities are well planned, unfortunately under the new management, the signs of neglect are already showing off; and is the same with the service quality: just doesn't fulfill the most basic expectations. After a few hours there I discovered why: the hotel caters to Russian and Mainland Chinese groups and that's the reason they don't need to worry about unsatisfied customers, because their agents in Moscow and Beijing provide them with an steady flow of customers. The staff at the pool bar and the beach kiosk they will really do their best to pretend they don't see you whenever you need them, they are just lazy, we had to do everything by ourselves; pick up the menu, pick up our drinks and food, etc. The safe at the room was broken, and the front desk kept telling us they would send someone "in 10 minutes" we waited for almost 2 hours till someone finally came to fix it. At check out we tried to complain with the duty manager but in a very rude attitude she picked up the phone not to answer but to make a call, ignoring us completely, then she took a very long time to checked us out, and finally to add insult to the injury she told us that the bottle opener was not in the room (I just wonder who would be interesting in steal such item) she tried actually to charge us for the opener which we absolutely refuse to accept, finally after we very firmly told her to prove her words, then she told us that "very generously" she wouldn't charge for the opener (?) We picked this hotel because of the location, isolated in a very secluded beach which in the pictures looks quite and relaxing, but you will need a car, because the hotel shuttle service to downtown is a joke, only 4 or 5 times a day and usually overcrowded. In overall I am not staying there again and don't recommend it to anyone, there are much better places you can get in Pattaya for the same amount of money you pay at garden cliff.
