Great stay
We stayed in room 1805 which is on the north side of the hotel and is also an Horizon Club floor. Our room included breakfast, We ate breakfast on the 3rd floor on the first morning. There is a huge range to eat and an egg station where you can order personalized eggs.It is however a little crowed, so from then on we ate breakfast in the horizon club which is very personel and the range is excellent. Our ballcony had sunshine all day but it only had one chair? We got some great sunset photos from our ballcony. The room was very clean and the bathroom was one of the best we have expienced. The room was a little tight when they added our sons bed. He said the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our staye and will book this hotel again. There is a word of warnning about the hiring of jet skies in front or the hotel (there is no association with the Amari) My son and I hired jet skis for half an hour. The lady hawking various activites rang someone on her cell/mobile Phone and two craft showed up .The operator had me fill out a simple form, hotel /room # and sign. He took some photos of one jet ski and gestured me to use this one I however was standing closer to the other one so I used that one and my son used "my" one. When finished he pointed to the front of my sons ski and said he broke it. I told him that was imposible as he never left my sight and he had not hit anything apart from waves, He shows me the photo and there was a peice missing the screws (loose) holding it were still there I told him the loose screws contributed to the missing part And he knew of this as it was the only part of the ski he photographed and is why he wanted me to ride it. And when i asked him why he took no photos of the other ski he had no answer I was set up! he asked for 5000bht Or he would call the police I gave him 2000 and he walked away. Our taxi driver told it is common And we should of called the tourist Police. Take your own pics and check for loose parts.
