I went pattaya with my boyfriend and we enjoyed our stay at Aisawan. I think it is a cool place to stay in and simply the price is reasonable. Most of the staffs are friendly and always wear a smile. The resort is beautiful, quiet and clean except that there was always a smell when we stepped out of the lift at the level we stayed. It is really an ideal place to stay for people who just want to stay out from the crowded city. However, the location is a little isolated and far from the central or the main beach. But we rented a motorbike so it wasn't too much a problem. Anyway, there are always mini-bus available to bring us there if we did not rent the bike. Maybe there are some areas that still need improvements. For instance, the breakfast can be better with more varities or styles or at least serve something different each day. They were almost the same everyday when we were there. The staff could provide some facilities information about the resort or maybe mentioned things like there is a beach we can get to through the pool. We wouldn't know until we visited the pool. This is certainly a nice place and ask for a room with view to the pool. It was a pity that we did not & our room is facing a piece of deserted and empty land.

My family put up 2 nights in Aisawan Resorts last month and we were delighted we did so! It was made known to me through internet that the hotel has been refurbished into about 4.5 star rated, and I agree.
The resort has its own private beach which is just few steps away from the swimming pools. Both the beach and seawater were clean. The 2 swimming pools were also very large and nicely shaped. There are many deck chairs around the two pools, and so no need to worry even there were many guests during our stay.
The rooms we stayed in were great. They managed to provide us the room types as per request; higher floors, connecting room, and bed arrangement. The rooms were also well equiped, and the new look/feel surely made the atmosphere more relaxing and refreshing. During the night, the lobby and hotel surroundings were lighted up brilliantly and elegantly.
Staffs' attitudes were warmth and not shy to smile. We did not really experience language problems as the staff we met up managed to answer us for taxi and tour and direction enquiries.
The resort location is also very ideal. It took us only about 10 minutes on the big tut-tut from resort to Pattaya town center. Yet, it is very much far away from the noisy pubs and bars.
Complimentary breakfasts were also sufficient and satisfactory.
Overall, although there are plenty of hotels which charged about USD10 lower in the surrounding area, we felt that it was worth the extra to stay here. Surely we would stay there again if we go next time.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff. We would have prefered to have the safe box in the room instead at the reception.
Lovely seafood buffet, but if the breakfast can be extended to 10.30 am, this would be must apreciated.

I just left from Aisawan resort for 2 days, overall are very impress the room was fantastic and the staff are very friendly. Next year will be return.

Aisawan is a very value for money...
Aisawan is a very value for money hotel. The place is very clean and hotel looks grand after the refurbishment. The standard rooms are very spacious. The Breakfast and the settings in the restuarant could be improved through. Besides the towels at the pool which have stained marks, we are generally satisfied with the hotel stay.

Hi i was just there for 5 days loved the hotel beach was great and the pool was fantastic.I know what people are saying about the language problem i asked for the local number to use a phone card and was told a nunmber and when i got downstairs the next morning was handed a bill for like 9000 tbt it was crazy tried to talk to the manager it would have been easier to get an answer from the wall.It is sad because the hotels was very clean if basic but now i dont know if i can recomend it to anyone to stay there if they just go around ripping people off with no explination.I work for the airlines and will not be telling anyone i know to stay there so i will be giving it a 4 out of 10 they could at least have someone who either speaks english russian french chinese wich me and my guests tried each of those and they didnt understand any ..
Just returned from a 4 night stay...
Just returned from a 4 night stay at the renamed Aisawan Resort & Spa Hotel. All the refurbishment has been completed and everything functions fine. Food is superb (we did make friends with the Head Chef, though) and we couldn't fault the service. On the downside: still very few English speaking staff and the promised room safes are still not in evidence.
On the plus side: One of the best hotels we stayed at during our trip and the situation North of Pattaya town makes for a quiet holiday, if that's what you are looking for.
I have to agree with Monika as...
I have to agree with Monika as i had the same problems.Only 1 of the 2 lifts working for 3 days breakfast was out side of the hotel in the open with birds flying around food was ok if you managed to a table as the staff were quite clueless in how to sit people at tables.only 1 of 3 computers were ever working. The hotel rebuilding was a nightmare and is still going on but as monika pointed out no one said a word and in fact when i asked reception about the name change from garden beach to asiawan the couldn't tell me the name as it seems no one told them so my visitors had to wait for me to go the main road and find them. All in all a very bad taste was left as i paid a lot of money for my 2 week stay.

Before Garden Beach Resort will change name for the the better one and becomes spa should send their staff for Customer Training!!!!that is ridiculous that staff speaks english very poorly! What more reception staff is very unfriendly and helpless especially the Russian girl Alice. No smile , no interest in customers problems. while I was staying in the resort they were completely rebuilding the area. They were working from 7am till 12pm!!! That is very annoying that nobody even mention while check-in that there are such iconvenience. Nobody wouldnt think that customers deserve an explanation!!! some words of apology would do!!!Bottle of champagne or basket of fruit!! Is it so difficult to invent this and what managment is doing???
"Relax in privacy" that is hotel website. How can you relax at the pool hearing sounds of drilling!!!and inhalating fumes of floor varnish while sleeping!!!What hotel leaflet dosent match with the reality. There are no safe boxes in the rooms but in brochure they are still there! And the reply from the manager on duty Alice was "I didnt make this brochure" I didnt ask who made it ! I ask for help but I didnt get it!
Hotel itself is rather nice.And I hope that after building the new one the managment will think about customers cos they are bringing money arent they?

This Resort is only 5 minutes taxi ride from the heart of
PATTAYA where all the action is yet quiet enough to have a great beach holiday with its superb surroundings, private beach (great for swimming, very clean) excellent food. Our room was on the left side and had fantastic views of Pattaya Bay. What more can I say!!! Staff are great,rooms are luxurious, very well kept resort. The only thing is there are not many English speaking guests and NO Australians. IT WOULD HAVE TO BE PATTAYA'S BEST KEPT SECRET!!!! AND NOT TO MENTION THE GREAT PRICE.
I will definitely be recommending the GARDEN BEACH RESORT to everyone, and will be staying there next time we visit PATTAYA.
