I had stayed at other Hotels in...
I had stayed at other Hotels in Pattaya, and spent 8 nights at the Montien over Christmas 2007. I had an upgraded room, which offered a wonderful balcony overlooking Pattaya Bay. The Hotel is well located for the bars and restaurants of Pattaya. The room was speacious, comfortable, and kept extremely clean during my visit by Housekeeping. As has become customary with most Hotels in Pattaya there is a charge of 900 Baht for any unregistered guest, per day. I was aware of this, and it was all handled efficiently by the Hotel staff. I was very happy with the Hotel, the friendliness of the staff, and the facilities. I will certainly visit the Montien again.

it was a great stay but it...
it was a great stay but it was very expensive bringing back a guest a charge of 850 bhats.the reception need to improve there english a bit, but apart from that a nice pleasent hotel.housekeeping excellent service.no air conditioning in reception.

The Montien is a large first class...
The Montien is a large first class hotel with superb pool and gentile atmosphere. The staff are very helpful and the hotel sits in a good location with access to both beach road and 2nd road, so travel anywhere is really easy. The hotel while we were there was mainly senior citizens, respectable and quiet, unlike the Hardrock hotel next door which we could hear having events during the day and sounded busy. The breakfast is also first class with a vast array of choice. The rooms are well furnished, we had a sea/pool view to die for, on the negative side, the bathroom appeared tired but was adequate. Overall, stay here to relax in a quiet, almost formal, 4 star luxury.

location,location,location!!!!! recently renovated. straight across from beach. right next to all central area restaurants. stayed at several hotels previously, this one the best by far.

i used to stay at the Montien...
i used to stay at the Montien Pattaya regularly until 1993 since when i have not visited Pattaya. I was happy to find that the hotel is just as i remembered it. My only complaint would be that my bathroom was looking a little "tired", however it was still acceptable and everything else about the hotel and its staff was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay at Montien hotel the pool,breakfast,room service, resturant and bathroom was great plenty of hot and cold water from shower head, location was good also.

When we first went into the hotel...
When we first went into the hotel we though Wow! this hotel is nice. Facilities is very good, Nice swimming pool and garden. The only bad thing is the room are very tired and shouldn't class as 4 star hotel. Overall, this hotel is ok but you could find somewhere better than you pay for this hotel.

Very pleased with the Montien Hotel. Have stayed there many times. Very reliable. Will always go back. Never any problems. Also, wish to say the the service that I have received from Asia Rooms was excellent. Will certinally book with Asia Rooms again.
